NOTHING WILL EVER BE THE SAME IN  "ROOKIE BLUE", ABC-TV's TOP-RATED PRIMETIME COP DRAMA, AVAILABLE NOW ON ALL LEADING DIGITAL PLATFORMS FROM ENTERTAINMENT ONE

All the Exploits of the 15 Division Officers Will Be Available
to Download or Stream the Day Following Broadcast

New York, NY/Toronto, Canada (July 13, 2015) - Five years ago, a group of green rookies fresh out of the Academy started their careers with 15 Division -- one of the most elite units in the city.  Now, as Andy McNally (Missy Peregrym) and her fellow officers enter their next year as seasoned pros, more resilient than ever, each day continues to bring new surprises and revelations.  The new season of ROOKIE BLUE, ABC-TV's fan favorite cop drama, returned on June 25th and Entertainment One (eOne) - also a ROOKIE BLUE producer - will begin to release each episode for purchase on all leading digital platforms the day after their premieres.

Last season the officers at 15 Division unearthed their sins of the past - dug through them, aired them out, and paved the way to move forward, though it ended with two bombs being dropped: an actual explosion in the evidence room, and the revelation that Sam's ex-girlfriend Marlo is pregnant with Sam's baby.  This upcoming season of ROOKIE BLUE promises to take the raucous rollercoaster ride of 15 Division to new heights with nail-biting storylines and a heavy dose of romance and heartbreak.  And it's during this season, that they'll have to learn to embrace living in the gray areas, because life is complicated and the best laid plans are just that. But sometimes it's the unpredictable things life throws our way that turn out to be exactly what we need.

Returning this season to ROOKIE BLUE  are stars Missy Peregrym ("Reaper", "Heroes"), Ben Bass ("Flashpoint", "Monk") as Sam Swarek, Gregory Smith ("Everwood", Dream House) as Dov Epstein, Travis Milne (Badge of Honor
) as Chris Diaz, Enuka Okuma ("NCIS: Los Angeles", "24") as Traci Nash, Charlotte Sullivan (The Colony, "The Kennedys"), Peter Mooney ("Heartland", "Camelot") and Priscilla Faia ("Psych", "Eleventh Victim").  The season also co-stars Oliver Becker ("Lost Girl", "Republic of Doyle", Crimson Peak) and Matthew Owen Murray ("Suits")

ROOKIE BLUE is executive produced by award-winning Tassie Cameron ("Flashpoint"), Ilana Frank ("The Eleventh Hour", "Would Be Kings"), David Wellington ("The Eleventh Hour", "Would Be Kings") and John Morayniss ("Rogue", "Haven").  The series is a production of ICF Films and leading independent studio eOne, who also distribute it internationally.

For the fifth year in a row IDW’s landmark Artist’s Edition series was awarded the Best Archival Collection/ Project – Comic Books Eisner Award for the Steranko Nick Fury Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. Artist’s Edition. Spearheaded by IDW Special Projects Director, Scott Dunbier this groundbreaking format continues to highlight acclaimed creators’ original artwork.

Rounding out the Genius trilogy of in-depth looks into the life and work of Alex Toth, Genius Animated: The Cartoon Art of Alex Toth edited by Dean Mullaney and Bruce Canwell, won Best Comics-Related Book!

“We’re once again honored and thrilled by the Eisner Award recognition,” said Chris Ryall, IDW's Chief Creative Officer/Editor-in-Chief. “As with every year, our books are nominated against many other worthy contenders and anything like the Eisner Awards puts so much more attention on the great books being produced across all levels of comics, as well as the inventive, talented creators who make those books, is a great thing.”

The Eisner Awards judges selected six individuals to be inducted into the Will Eisner Comic Awards Hall of Fame for 2015, one of which was John Byrne. “Just as John Byrne was honored to be admitted to the Will Eisner Hall of Fame, I was similarly honored to accept on his behalf," said Ryall. "John’s four decades in comics has inspired both storylines of immensely popular movies as well as legions of comic readers and creators, and I look forward to him continuing his creative with IDW."

The COBRA WORLD ORDER
Starts This October
For
G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero
The Master Plan Is Set

San Diego, CA (July 11, 2015) – This October, it’s zero hour for A Real American Hero! G.I. JOE has been fighting the evil forces of COBRA for decades, but now COBRA is ready to unleash its master plan on an unsuspecting G.I. JOE!

Written by the man who started it all, G.I. JOE comics legend Larry Hama, this table-setter leads into a mammoth 8-part bi-weekly event, kicking off with G.I. JOE: ARAH #219 and #220! Art duties for this arc will be in the very capable hands of S.L. Gallant who has become a fan-favorite for his attention to detail and accurate portrayals of classic G.I. JOE vehicles and characters.

“What we have seen of Cobra’s plans in G.I. JOE: ARAH to date is just the tip of the iceberg,” said series writer, Hama. “Other players in the Cobra periphery—like Destro and Zartan—are making their moves so as to be in on whatever benefits accrue from Cobra Commander’s master plot. Meanwhile, Hawk leads an international team around the globe to uncover the details of this sinister conspiracy.”

The Prelude issue will boast covers by some of the hottest artists working in the industry today; with Paul Pope leading the charge on the standard cover and variant covers by Francesco Francavilla and Phil Jimenez. And it doesn’t end there; this issue is also part of IDW’s celebrated Artist’s Edition Month with a variant by Stephen Mooney as well as a Blank Sketch variant.

Whether you are a longtime fan or new to this world, G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero: COBRA WORLD ORDER Prelude is the prefect jumping on point for all.

“After the Death of Snake Eyes, I didn’t think Larry would come up with something that could top a story like that… but the more we talked about COBRA WORLD ORDER and the more details he gave me about COBRA’s momentous scheme, the more I saw this as a perfect event: something accessible to new readers that still pays off years of worldbuilding and storytelling in G.I. JOE: ARAH. Fans—new and old alike—are gonna be blown away!” said IDW editor, Carlos Guzman.

The 8-part COBRA WORLD ORDER starts here and will continue in the following months’ now bi-weekly G.I. JOE: ARAH! Don’t miss it!
