IRREDEEMABLE #29
SEES THE DEBUT OF SENSATIONAL
FATHER & SON TEAM
EDUARDO & DIEGO BARRETO!

PETER KRAUSE
ENDS ACCLAIMED RUN ON
EISNER & HARVEY AWARD NOMINATED
IRREDEEMABLE

February 8, 2010 - Los Angeles, CA - BOOM! Studios' bestselling Eisner & Harvey Award-nominated IRREDEEMABLE gets sensational father/son team Eduardo & Diego Barreto to take over art duties for fan-favorite artist Peter Krause beginning with IRREDEEMABLE #29!

“A true visionary that brought the amazing world of IRREDEEMABLE to life, Peter Krause will definitely be a hard act to follow, but I know this series is in great hands with the extremely talented Eduardo & Diego Barreto team!” says BOOM! Studios Editor-in-Chief Matt Gagnon. “Combining Eduardo's veteran skill with Diego's know how of the IRREDEEMABLE universe, fans will be happy to see this series maintain the highest level of artistic quality set by the great Peter Krause.”

“This is a classic bad news, good news scenario,” says BOOM! Studios Marketing Director Chip Mosher. “Peter Krause, a pioneer of the IRREDEEMABLE world and all-around upstanding guy, no longer joining us is the bad news. The good news? We couldn't have asked for a more amazing artist team than Eduardo & Diego Barreto! Decades of experience and talent accompany these two men and we could not be more elated about them taking over for Peter!”

Eduardo Barreto's storied history in comics began in the 80's contributing to such DC series as THE NEW TEEN TITANS, SUPERMAN, STAR WARS, MARTIAN MANHUNTER and BATMAN. Eduardo also worked with Marvel on MARVEL KNIGHTS and Dark Horse on ALIEN VS. PREDATOR, INDIANA JONES, and THE ESCAPIST, and even on such seminal BOOM! Studios titles as ZOMBIE TALES. In 2006 Eduardo also took over the popular newspaper strip JUDGE PARKER from Harold LeDoux and continued on the series until February 2010. Diego Barreto began teaming up with his father in the 90's with such titles as DC's XER0, later working on his own art in SUPER GIRL. Beginning in January 2010 Diego accompanied Peter Krause as a fill-in artist on issues of IRREDEEMABLE and continues to do so today.

When it debuted in April 2009, IRREDEEMABLE quickly became BOOM! Studios' all-time bestselling book to date. Since its release IRREDEEMABLE has garnered much critical acclaim including three Eisner Award nominations for such categories as Best Continuing Series and Best Writer, Mark Waid, as well as two Harvey Award nominations for Best New Series and Best Writer Mark Waid. REPULSE: THE FUTURE OF REINCARNATION
Spawn Sensation Szymon Kudranksi's Futuristic Thriller Debuts in July

BERKELEY, CA -- 21 April 2011 – Robots are not alive. They have no memories, philosophies or inner monologues. They are senseless, devoid of feelings and don't understand what it means to be alive. However, in Image Comics' upcoming dark science fiction thriller REPULSE, Szymon Kudranski presents a scenario in which a robot appears to actually have memories of a past life spent as a human.

"I wanted do something new with robots, but it almost seemed everything had already been done," Kudranski said of his decision to contribute to the canon of futuristic science fiction stories about artificial intelligence. "There are robot killers, robot cops, robots that wish to be humans or wage revolutions, but the human experience of reincarnation merged with robots was intriguing enough that I felt I should create a story about it.”

Szymon Kudranski is an up-and-coming artist who recently made an impressive debut on Todd McFarlane’s preeminent title, SPAWN. Rather than mimicking McFarlane's signature style, Kudranski brought his own distinct sensibilities to Image's flagship character and continues to attract attention with each new issue. REPULSE was created before he began working with McFarlane and was originally conceived of as a three-issue miniseries, but will now be published as one complete graphic novel in July.

"Readers who are interested in the progression of my art style should enjoy this story as a comparison to what I'm doing on current projects," Kudranksi added.

"From his work at Shadowline to his current issues of SPAWN, it's been really wonderful to watch Szymon's ongoing development as an artist," said Image Comics Publisher Eric Stephenson. "When he brought REPULSE to us, it was an unexpected gem."

In REPULSE, the robotics of the near future have helped solve the worst crimes and changed the world, but one detective employing the most high-tech solutions must be able to catch a serial kill who preys upon his fellow officers before the technology also brings about his own destruction.

REPULSE (MAY110440), an 72-page black and white science fiction thriller comic book, will be available for order in the May issue of Diamond Previews and goes on sale July 6 for $6.99.

comiXology Joins Stan Lee and Other Comic Book Creators for Japan Benefit Graphic Novel

JAPAN NEEDS HEROES, a comic book anthology donating 100% of its profits to those affected by tragedies in Japan, is adding digital distribution to extend its reach.

Orlando, FL / April 21st, 2011 – Comic book veterans such as Stan Lee and other industry superstars have joined forces to help raise money for Japan in a book appropriately titled – JAPAN NEEDS HEROES. Now, even the comic book distribution system has joined in this crusade.

comiXology, the leading distributor digital comics, has agreed to handle the digital distribution of the Japan Needs Heroes to both anyone who contributes as much as $5, or those who purchase the physical book as well.

Independent publisher, Red Giant Entertainment (RGE) started reaching out to the industry soon after the disasters struck, and the response by both creators and fans alike has been inspiring.

Industry icons such as Stan Lee, Peter David, Ron Marz, Mike Deodato, Larry Hama, Jimmy Palmiotti, Elaine Lee, Amanda Conner, Howard Mackie, Brandon Peterson, and dozens more are creating new comic stories of hope for inclusion in the book. In a move of solidarity, even creators under exclusive contract have been granted the right to contribute their services to the cause by their companies, including Marvel and DC.

It's in this spirit that comiXology has joined in. For as little as $5, readers will gain access to this massive book which they can read on their iPhone, iPad, Android devices and the Web -- with the proceeds going to help those in need.

“It was always part of the plan to allow as many people as possible to have a digital version of the book,” said Benny R. Powell, CEO of RGE. “We quickly realized, however, that as this project began picking up steam, we weren't equipped to try to deal with delivering the electronic versions by ourselves. We needed help.”

"We're so glad Benny reached out to us to be the digital partner for Japan Needs Heroes," said David Steinberger, CEO of comiXology. "The support he has garnered for the relief effort is like a real-life superhero team up and we are honored to digitally distribute the graphic novel for such an important cause."

This project straddles more than just any one genre and more than just the print world. Webcomics have grown to become one of the largest sectors of the comic book industry with millions of readers worldwide. That is why the invitation went out to the Webcomic community as well and many of the fan favorite creators. Christian Scott Sava (Dreamland Chronicles), Tarol Hunt (Goblins), Gisele Lagace & Dave Zero1 (Eerie Cuties), Chris Crosby and Owen Gieni (Sore Thumbs), T Campbell (Penny and Aggie), David Reddick (Legend of Bill) and dozens more have already signed on to lend their creativity and characters to the book.

100% of the proceeds from JAPAN NEEDS HEROES will be donated to the Japan Society, a non-profit organization that has created a special disaster relief fund to aid victims of the Tohoku earthquake in Japan. To date they have raised over $4.5 million in this effort. Over the years, Japan Society has partnered with several Japanese and American non-profits working on the frontlines of disaster relief and recovery. 100% of the profits for this book will go to them to directly help victims recover from the devastating effects of the earthquake and tsunamis that struck Japan on March 11, 2011.

This book is funding itself through the Kickstarter program which can be reached through www.JapanNeedsHeroes.com or in the comics section directly on Kickstarter.com. It has already raised over fourteen thousand dollars, and hopes to achieve much more to help with the estimated $235 billion in damage these unprecedented disasters have caused.

“My wife is from Japan,” explained Powell, “and her family still lives there. We hear daily reports of the fear and uncertainty they face. I realized we had to do something. Comics have a power to reach massive audiences and that’s a powerful thing. As more and more creators join our cause I believe we can raise a lot of money to help. This transcends any genre, medium, or publisher. This need is bigger than anything our world has ever faced, and we truly believe that together we can make a difference.”

ABOUT COMIXOLOGY

Since 2007 comiXology has been developing the technological infrastructure to bring comics into the digital mainstream and expose new audiences to the rich history and culture of the industry. Through partnerships with top comic book publishers including Marvel Comics, DC Comics, BOOM! Studios and Image Comics as well as their own mobile and web apps which hosts over 8,000 digital titles, comiXology has become a leader in digital comic book proliferation. Also focused on creating strong ties with retail stores through its technology solutions, comiXology continues to transform the previously fragmented comic ecosystem into a vibrant and cohesive marketplace. http://www.comixology.com/

Kill Shakespeare's first ever public performance to highlight Bard's birthday (and death day) celebrations in Toronto.

Toronto, Canada: On April 23rd the Kill Shakespeare team plans a HUGE birthday surprise for history’s greatest writer - the performance of a Shakespearean adventure that the Bard never actually wrote.

The creators of the popular comic which “mashes up” all of the Bard’s greatest heroes and most menacing villains in the same world and story are teaming up with one of Canada’s most innovative theatres to provide a unique afternoon of entertainment on the anniversary of both Shakespeare’s birth and his death.

Soulpepper Theatre and Kill Shakespeare Entertainment invite you to first “Watch Shakespeare and then Kill Shakespeare” this Saturday a 1:30 PM at the Young Centre for the Performing Arts (55 Mill St., Building 49).

“We’re very excited to get to show our fans what Kill Shakespeare looks like as a performed piece” says series co-creator Anthony Del Col, “after all the Bard is meant to be seen and not just read – we think this takes the comic’s story into an entirely appropriate new medium.”
Click here for a link to the Soulpepper press-release and find out how you can get a special discounted ticket to A Midsummer Night’s Dream in the Marilyn and Charles Baillie Theatre just by being a follower of Kill Shakespeare. Then, if you stay after the show you can watch the Soulpepper troupe do a live reading of Kill Shakespeare #1 in the Kevin and Roger Garland Cabaret.

Or go to http://www.youngcentre.ca/Tickets/reserve.aspx?perf=4723 and use Promocode “Kill” to book your seats.

About the series:

Kill Shakespeare is an adventure story that pits all of Shakespeare’s greatest heroes (including Hamlet, Juliet, Falstaff, Othello, Puck) against the Bard’s most menacing villains (including Richard III, Lady Macbeth, Iago) in a quest to track down and kill – or save – a reclusive wizard by the name of William Shakespeare. ComicBookResources calls it “a tour de force of the storytelling marriage of words and art.” Kill Shakespeare has been profiled by NPR, BBC Worldwide Radio, Wired.com, The Globe and Mail and Publisher’s Weekly. It’s also been debated by Shakespearean scholars online and in the pages of Maclean’s. Written by Conor McCreery and Anthony Del Col, the series art is provided by Andy Belanger (D.C.’s Bottle of Awesome), with colours by Ian Herring, and covers by internationally renowned illustrator Kagan Mcleod.

More information about the series can be found at www.killshakespeare.com.

The critically acclaimed hardboiled noir crime thriller with guns, fangs and aliens is collected in its full glory!
New York, 1925: the height of prohibition. Gangs fall like bloody dominos as the mysterious Dragonmir family fights to rule the city and begin to wake the Old One – a gigantic sleeping vampire buried amongst the roots of their mansion. But an unlikely alliance formed between tough guy Eddie Falco and a stranded space-alien known as Squeed leads to an uneasy stalemate. Meanwhile, a strong-willed young reporter, dirty cops and ousted Harlem racketeers all try to survive in the middle of the maelstrom, and it’s anyone’s guess who’s going to win the battle for this particular slice of turf.

Collects TURF #1-5, plus a pin-up and cover gallery featuring comic legends JIM STERANKO, WILLIAM STOUT, MICHAEL KALUTA, DAVE GIBBONS, DUNCAN FEGREDO and more!

"Turf is unlike anything you've ever seen. A magnificent five-course meal served on a single platter. Ruthless gangsters, leaping vampires, biomechanical aliens all converge in a turf war of cosmic scope. It's not surprising to see a multicultural collision like this come out of Mr. Ross and Mr. Edwards' brains. What is shocking is that it works so well. Fast-paced, efficiently told and quite addictive!"

SUPER DINOSAUR: SOLD OUT BUT NOT EXTINCT
Image Comics Goes Back to Press on Robert Kirkman's All-ages Hit!

Berkeley, CA – 20 April 2011 – Not only is Robert Kirkman a NY Times Bestselling author of comics for adults, but his new all-ages title with artist Jason Howard has exceeded expectations right out of the gate! While the sales for all-ages comic books are typically lower than that of their PG-13 counterparts, SUPER DINOSAUR #1 has out-sold many other titles on the shelf this week before even hitting the shelves. Now, the first new series published under Robert Kirkman’s Image Comics Skybound imprint, SUPER DINOSAUR #1, has sold through its first printing at distribution level and is now being rushed back to press for a second printing.

Robert Kirkman and Jason Howard previously worked together on the recently-concluded horror/superhero series, THE ASTOUNDING WOLF-MAN series. SUPER DINOSAUR is the creative duo’s first crack at creating a comic book their own kids can enjoy. In fact, the original concept behind what later became the modern, genetically-modified dinosaur we see today was first introduced as a character to entertain Howard’s son.

"It's awesome to look back on that first sketch I did with my son and see how it has evolved into a full blow comic incorporating a bunch of the things I loved as a kid myself," Howard reminisced. "But beyond the missiles and dinosaurs, Robert is really infusing the characters with heart and making the story something that all audiences can enjoy, I can't wait for people to see what is coming up!"

The two creators are pleased to have provided kids like their own with a new reason to start reading comics. In fact, a free SUPER DINOSAUR ORIGIN SPECIAL, which picks up right where SUPER DINOSAUR #1 leaves off, will be widely available at participating comic shops on Free Comic Book Day (5/11), giving young readers additional incentive to get into the habit of reading comic books. Plus, SUPER DINOSAUR #1 will not only be available in comic shops today in print, but has also been simultaneously released on Comixology.com as a digital comic for the iPad or iPhone through the Image Comics app.

SUPER DINOSAUR #1 is also receiving some spectacular early reviews from grown-up fans of comic books, too, including these:

“Some people might say good comics for kids are almost as rare as a dinosaur. …they’re going to be eating those words – or be eaten by those comics.” – Newsarama

“SUPER DINOSAUR has all the elements of a cartoon that kids over the years would rush home from school to witness…” – USA Today

“Long live SUPER DINOSAUR!” – CBR

SUPER DINOSAUR #1 (FEB110379), an action-packed, awesome 32-page full-color all ages science fiction comic book, is available in comic shops today for $2.99. The second printing is due out in May.

A Treasury of Murder:
THE LIVES OF SACCO & VANZETTI
Rick Geary
Rick Geary tackles the most controversial case of the 20th century. Anarchists Sacco & Vanzetti were accused of robbery and murder but so many supposedly damning pieces of evidence were questionable their guilty verdict elicited massive protests around the world. Geary presents us with all the twists and turns, appeals and dubious evidence after presenting us the human face of the two men, demonized by many, turned to martyrs by many others in his usual unflappable way.

THE LORD WORKS IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS
New Miniseries Challenges Fans to Take Part in the Upcoming Horror

Berkeley, CA – April 19, 2011 – Crazed serial killers often claim to be doing God’s work, but what if one really was? MYSTERIOUS WAYS, a six-issue miniseries from Image Comics' Top Cow Productions proposes an answer to that disturbing question. This July, video game industry titan Jason Rubin (The Iron Saint) joins forces with artist Tyler Kirkham (Green Lantern Corps, Amazing Spider-Man) to introduce this dark and action-packed thriller that will have you questioning everything you believe.

MYSTERIOUS WAYS takes a number of archetypes from classic crime suspense stories and turns them on their head over the course of the story. Sam, the down on his luck, alcoholic ex-cop is not what he seems. Neither is the sharp-tongued, gothic bar waitress. Certainly not the by-the-book FBI agent with a perfect arrest record!

"MYSTERIOUS WAYS has been in my head for the better part of a decade, so it's great to see it come to fruition with style," said Rubin. "Tyler and our inker, Sal Regla, are at the top of their game, and I can't thank Top Cow and Image enough for their commitment to bringing out books of the highest quality."

"Jason shows how diverse a story teller he is," added Kirkham. "MYSTERIOUS WAYS is as far from Crash Bandicoot as you could possibly go. It's a sick thrill ride from start to finish!"

Not only will MYSTERIOUS WAYS provide a disturbing new story for horror fans, but beginning the last week of April, readers will also be asked to predict how MYSTERIOUS WAYS plays out, and most importantly how it ends, with a contest in which the reader that submits the closest description of the storyline through the Website by the day the second issue hits stores will receive every Top Cow comic released over the next 12 months, absolutely free! Participants must submit their entries through Top Cow’s new community Website, The Barn at www.topcow.com/barn. The winner will be announced after the last issue ships.

MYSTERIOUS WAYS #1 (MAY110428), a 32-page full color comic priced at $3.99, will be available for order in the May issue of Diamond Previews and goes on sale July 6.

Popular Web Comic gets collected by Transfuzion Publishing

(April 17, 2011) The Assemblers, the long running webcomic appearing on DrunkDuck, has just been collected into graphic novel format by Transfuzion Publishing. Written and illustrated by Andy Dudak, The Assemblers is a futuristic tale of destruction yet also rebirth.

The story centers on October 30th, 2151. Devil’s Night. Traditionally this has been a celebration of havoc as the night before Halloween has long been dedicated to spray paint and fire, to destruction for its own sake. But in the future, the impulse behind this frenzied holiday is alive and well but mischief in the Age of Nanotech is much more complicated.

Featuring three young vandals-- Bardo, Shiyu, and Dwyer who team up to provide visionary tactics of mayhem in a futuristic world. To keep the spirit of their egg-throwing forbearers alight, perilous alchemy is required. But the unleashing of such power will bring enemies, and lead to an opening of an abyss that could swallow its makers whole.

“When Andy sent me the link to the Drunk Duck site to check out the webcomic,” publisher Gary Reed said, “I was instantly impressed by the incredible detail in his artwork. And then I started reading it and I was even more impressed with the sophistication of his story-telling. It’s really a though provoking story with great art.”

Featured on Drunk Duck, the Assemblers ran for about 90 pages and recently wrapped up and was promptly collected by Transfuzion for release in graphic novel form. ASYLUM PRESS RELEASES PREVIEW TO TRENCHCOATS, CIGARETTES AND SHOTGUNS GRAPHIC NOVEL

IN A WORLD OF DEMON WORSHIPPING MAFIOSO, A MYSTERIOUS HITMAN NAMED TRYPP MUST AVENGE THE DEATH OF A FRIEND, WHILE HE SUCCUMBS TO HIS INNER DARKNESS

COVER BY NAT JONES

April 19, 2011 (Los Angeles) Frank Forte, publisher of Asylum Press, announces that Asylum Press has joined with Conquest Studios and 803 Studios to publish Trenchcoats, Cigarettes and Shotguns, an original graphic novel written by Chuck Brown and illustrated by Philip Nuendorf.

Trenchcoats, Cigarettes and Shotguns preview can be seen here:

http://asylumpress.com/index2.html

"I'm really excited to be working with Chuck brown and Philipp Neundorf to publish this incredible story, "explains Publisher Frank Forte, " It's very original, with a dark storyline and twisted characters. It's exactly what Asylum Press wants to bring to the masses."

Trenchcoats, Cigarettes and Shotguns is set in a world filled with mech wielding gangsters, demonic Mafioso and demons that run wild on earth, a mysterious hit man named Trypp only relies on three things, his trenchcoat, his cigarettes and his shotguns. A new kind of crime family begins to emerge in New York City, one that uses ancient satanic rituals to gain the speed, strength and other attributes of demons from Hell. When the demonic mob murders the friend of a mysterious hit man named, Trypp; he begins to leave a path of death, destruction and blood to avenge her. But he also begins to embrace the darkness within his soul.

"Working with Philipp Neundorf was a writer’s dream, " explains writer Chuck Brown, "though we bumped heads now and again he was able to take the world of Trench coats, Cigarettes and Shotguns to new heights. Assembling this book took a lot of sleepless nights, time & sweat. But in the end I thinks we created something unique and special. Take away all the demons, death, magic and mayhem in the book you’re left with a simple story about a grain of good trying to say afloat in a sea evil. Something I think a lot of people can relate to and enjoy reading."

Artist Philip Nuendorf reminisces about creating Trenchcoats, Cigarettes and Shotguns; "Doing a full color page a day for around three months is an intense period of time. Even more when strong personalities like Chuck and I meet. Often enough we were crushing our heads like Trypp the demons in the book. Back then, after bandaging my wounds and then looking at the pages, I felt it was worth the fight. And as I was looking at the book again for the occasion I still feel like that. Doing comics next to the big productions is tough. But damn worth the experience."

FEAR THE REAPER

The Walking Dead's Cliff Rathburn Returns to Reaper With a Second Issue This July

BERKELEY, CA --15 April 2011 – Best known for his work providing gray tones on THE WALKING DEAD, artist Cliff Rathburn is returning to his own creator-owned work this July. REAPER is the second installment of a horror/fantasy tale first published in 2004, as a black and white one-shot written by Robert Kirkman. Seven years later, Rathburn is picking up the threads of that initial story in an all-new full color one-shot that looks even more amazing than the first.

The original REAPER one-shot told the violent and gutsy story of a deadly assassin, Reaper, who had been hired by a mysterious figure to kill a supposedly indestructible tyrant ruler. That mysterious figure turned out to be none other than Death, though, whose ultimate aim was to wipe out all life on Earth. Rathburn’s knack for handily illustrating brutality and dismemberment, however, brought the story to vivid (and often unsettling) life.

"REAPER was the first time I worked with Robert KIrkman, and he really took my creation and improved it," explained Rathburn. "His script kept me driven to penciling, toning and lettering the first volume of REAPER, which is a lot of work for one person to do on their own.

"As of right now in my career, I have done everything you can do in comics apart from writing my own script. Writing the second REAPER has given me the a chance to play to my strengths as a penciler and helped me produce a final product where I can finally say I am proud of my work."

The second installment of REAPER begins 400 years after Death failed to eradicate life. Now, the magical gem that gave Lord Shirak his power has fallen into the possession of our hero, allowing Reaper to become a warlord himself. Unfortunately, as Reaper should know full well, Death is not easily deterred...

"REAPER is a gem from early in Robert Kirkman's writing career, and seeing the story continue should be a real treat, not just for his fans, but anyone who likes visceral, over-the-top artwork," said Image Comics Publisher Eric Stephenson. "Cliff has spent several years now doing gray tones on THE WALKING DEAD and he's inked several issues of INVINCIBLE over Ryan Ottley, but he's an amazing artist and storyteller in his own right. And if you thought REAPER looked good when it first appeared in black and white – just wait 'til you see it in color!"
The original REAPER one-shot (JAN041314) is available now for $6.95, while REAPER #2 (MAY110438), a 48-page part color and part black & white comic book priced at $4.99, which will be available for order in the May issue of Diamond Previews catalog, with an in-store date of July 21, 2011.
Everyone’s Favorite Lasagna-Loving Cat is Back with His New Series:

Graphic Novels from PAPERCUTZ!

Papercutz, the premiere publisher of such popular graphic novel series as BIONICLE, DISNEY FAIRIES, GERONIMO STILTON, HARDY BOYS, NANCY DREW, THE SMURFS, PAPERCUTZ SLICES and TALES FROM THE CRYPT releases GARFIELD #Co graphic novels #1 “Fish to Fry” and #2 “The Curse of the Cat People” on May 24th, 2011. GARFIELD & Co presents stories from Cartoon Network’s hit series The Garfield Show in comic format. GARFIELD & Co is one of Cartoon Network’s biggest hits – it airs every day of the week reaching approximately 600,000 kids!

These graphic novel adaptations lay out the screen captures carefully to create real comics pages as opposed to many such adaptations showing random frames floating between empty spaces.
In Volume #1 “Fish to Fry,” Jon reluctantly agrees to let his girlfriend Liz keep her pet fish at his house while she’s away out of town. Jon has to stop these fish from becoming Garfield’s snacks – or else! Volume #2 “The Curse of the Cat People” finds our paunchy protagonist, along with his foil Odie, transported into another dimension through a magic mirror. Garfield and Odie end up in an alternate version of ancient Egypt where cats rule the world! Both graphic novels feature two additional stories that cover everything from Pet Shows to Garfield’s search for his beloved teddy bear “Pooky,” to Odie’s discovery of a valuable dinosaur fossil in Jon’s backyard!
Garfield’s diverse fan base should provide a ready audience for this series. From fans of the daily comic strip (serialized in over 2,400 newspapers around the world), to those who grew up on the Garfield & Friends television series from the 1990’s, to fans of the Garfield films and the television show from which these comics are adapted – GARFIELD & Co graphic novels have a little something for everyone.
