PRESS RELEASE - SAVAGE DRAGON #137 AND PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA RETURNS TO PRESS FOR A FOURTH AND FINAL TIME!Savage Dragon #137'S Barack Obama Presidential Endorsement Returns Fourth and Final Printing In A Special Commemorative Edition!

26 January 2009 (Berkeley, CA) - Despite three sold out printings, recent renewed demand for SAVAGE DRAGON's nomination of President Barack Obama has resulted in a fourth and final commemorative edition!

"While we sold out some time ago, we've been receiving an awful lot of letters from fans and retailers alike demanding another printing," Erik Larsen said. "This fourth - and definitely final, I might add - printing commemorates the very first time a superhero has openly nominated a real-life candidate for Presidential office. It's been flattering to receive such attention and I hope everyone who's bought a copy sticks around for the rest of the series, especially #145's relaunch!"
When originally announced, SAVAGE DRAGON's nomination took the press by storm, being the first comic to be featured so highly for its Barack Obama appearance, with stories ranging from The New York Times, The Huffington Post, Yahoo!, Radar Magazine and comic mainstays like Comic Book Resources, Newsarama and iFanboy. The issue featured both a cover and interior endorsement of the then Democratic candidate and is followed up by February's SAVAGE DRAGON #145, the new beginning for the series in which Dragon returns to the Chicago police force and Chicago's other favorite adopted son, President Barack Obama, is there to greet him!

SAVAGE DRAGON #137 FOURTH PRINTING, a 32-page full color comic book for $3.50, will be in stores to coincide with SAVAGE DRAGON #145 (Obama Cover: DEC082233 & Regular Cover: DEC082232 ) on February, 25th, 2009.
