MUCH-ANTICIPATED MICHELLE OBAMA COMIC BOOK AVAILABLE APRIL 29

Bluewater Productions’ much-anticipated comic book “Female Force: Michelle Obama” will be available in bookstores on Wednesday, April 29.

The latest installment in the “Female Force” series offers a visual biography of First Lady Michelle Obama as she secures her place in American history. The story is written by Neal Bailey and drawn by Joshua LaBello with a cover by Vinnie Tartamella.

The “Female Force” series showcases influential women in politics.

Bluewater Publisher Darren G. Davis said demand for the Michelle Obama book has been “overwhelming” and the comic is on track to sell out. Diamond Comic Distributors reported the Michelle Obama book is its top-selling independent title for April.

The first two books in the “Female Force” series, featuring Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin, are currently on their third printing.

The “Female Force” series has drawn a firestorm of media attention in the past month, including features on “Live with Regis and Kelly,” CNN, MSNBC and Fox News, and in People magazine, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, USA Today and thousands of blogs and other media outlets.

Three more “Female Force” titles, featuring Caroline Kennedy, Princess Diana and Condoleezza Rice, are in production and scheduled for release in the coming months. A biographical series of political figures under the banner “Political Power” is already in production. The first book will feature Colin Powell.
