February 8, 2010 - Los Angeles, CA - BOOM! Studios' bestselling Eisner & Harvey Award-nominated IRREDEEMABLE gets sensational father/son team Eduardo & Diego Barreto to take over art duties for fan-favorite artist Peter Krause beginning with IRREDEEMABLE #29!

Eduardo Barreto's storied history in comics began in the 80's contributing to such DC series as THE NEW TEEN TITANS, SUPERMAN, STAR WARS, MARTIAN MANHUNTER and BATMAN. Eduardo also worked with Marvel on MARVEL KNIGHTS and Dark Horse on ALIEN VS. PREDATOR, INDIANA JONES, and THE ESCAPIST, and even on such seminal BOOM! Studios titles as ZOMBIE TALES. In 2006 Eduardo also took over the popular newspaper strip JUDGE PARKER from Harold LeDoux and continued on the series until February 2010. Diego Barreto began teaming up with his father in the 90's with such titles as DC's XER0, later working on his own art in SUPER GIRL. Beginning in January 2010 Diego accompanied Peter Krause as a fill-in artist on issues of IRREDEEMABLE and continues to do so today.

When it debuted in April 2009, IRREDEEMABLE quickly became BOOM! Studios' all-time bestselling book to date. Since its release IRREDEEMABLE has garnered much critical acclaim including three Eisner Award nominations for such categories as Best Continuing Series and Best Writer, Mark Waid, as well as two Harvey Award nominations for Best New Series and Best Writer Mark Waid.
