Jason Adams, Joel Adams, Michael and Laura Allred, Christian Beranek, G.W. Fisher, Raven Gregory, Christy Marx, Brian and Kristy Miller, Brandon Peterson and Norm Rapmund Join PHXCC 2013

Phoenix Comicon is proud to announce that comic book artists Jason Adams, Joel Adams, Michael and Laura Allred, Christian Beranek, G.W. Fisher, Raven Gregory, Christy Marx, Brian and Kristy Miller, Brandon Peterson and Norm Rapmund will be attending Comicon 2013.

“We are ecstatic to have such a wide range of great comic book artists attending this year's Phoenix Comicon. It will be a treat for every comic book fan out there,” says Convention Director Matt Sorberg.

Jason Adams specializes in combining nerd favorites like Star Wars, comic book characters, and famous athletes with the unique look of spray paint and other mediums, anyone can find something they like in his art.

Joel Adams is best known for his work on House of Mystery for DC Comics. He also is known for his design work for shows on the Syfy channel.

Michael and Laura Allred are husband and wife who at times team up to collaborate together. Laura frequently works as Michael'2 colorist and is currently drawing the series, I, Zombie. Michael is best known for his indie comics creation, Madman. Michael's work is a frequent nominee for comics awards and he has already received a lifetime-achievement AML Award.

Christian Beranek is known for work developing prequel and origin material for the films Seven, Babylon A.D. And Max Paye. Recently, Beranek co-launched the website, The Webcomic Factory in 2010.

G.W. Fisher is known for his work on The Intimidators and Shadow Hawk. He has also worked on Fantastic Four, X-Men and Iron Man.

Brandon Peterson is known for his hyper detailed artwork and intricate line work. His most well-known work is on Uncanny X-Men and Codename: Strykeforce.

Raven Gregory started out with the successful, The Gift, Grimm Fairy Tales Myth and Legends series and The Wonderland Trilogy. Gregory is currently the Executive Editor and Staff writer of Zenescope Entertainment 

Christy Marx is known for her work of writing scripts for various TV-series such as Jem, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Conan the Adventurer and G.I. Joe. Recently, it was announced that Marx will be writing the character f Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld in a revival of the comic book series, Sword of Sorcery.

Brian and Kristy Miller are best known for their work on Hi-Fi Color for Comics and Master Digital Color.

Norm Rapmund is known for his work on X-Treme X-Men,  Bloodstrike and Team Youngblood. Later, he inked issues for Aquaman, Wolverine and Masters of the Universe.

Phoenix Comicon is the signature pop culture experience of the southwest. Comicon is presenting guests and programming for hobbyists by attracting the top segments of the comics, anime, sci-fi, film, tv, and gaming industries. Entering its eleventh year, Phoenix Comicon is expected to draw over 40,000 attendees to its May 23-26, 2013 convention held at the Phoenix Convention Center and Hyatt Regency in Downtown Phoenix.
