Because even the gods need day jobs! SIGNED Releases at NYCC
Wayward Raven Releases New Title At New York Comic Con

(October 1, 2013)This year at New York Comicon, Wayward Raven Media is debuting their brand new comic book series Signed on their first birthday!!! That’s right, one short year ago Wayward Raven Media came into existence at the NYCC with two inaugural series: The Ascendant and Horsemen. Since then they have put out a weekly webcomic, Damn Heroes, issue two of the Ascendant, a middle grade novel named The Cell and Ominous Odes, a collection of short stories. And now a busy first year is being completed by a whole new series.
Signed takes place in a world where gods did not die out. Instead they got day jobs and hid themselves among mortal affairs. The first installment, C: the missing, follows a talent agent/sorceress who investigates the known realms to find a missing client and in doing so uncovers a deeper plot where the cosmos hangs in a precarious balance. Myth, magic, and mayhem ensue. Other story arcs within the Signed world are currently in production.
In other comic book news, Wayward Raven Media has contracted artist James Beihl to complete the Horsemen series and artist Kat Ayer to work on a new one-shot named The Cycle. A children’s book is also in the development stage. All products are available on http://waywardraven.com. The first opportunity to get your hands on Signed, however, will be at their small press booth number 1266 at New York Comic-Con near Marvel Comics.
In addition to Signed, fans can purchase other Wayward Raven products like comic books, novels, t-shirts, artwork and Damn Heroes activity books.
Wayward Raven will be conducting portfolio reviews at NYCC in search of talent for upcoming projects. Stop by on Friday between 3-5 and Sunday between 2-4 with your work. All disciplines welcome.
The folks at Wayward Raven look forward to celebrating a happy first birthday with all who can attend the New York Comic-Con. Stop by and wish them happy birthday for a free gift.
