THE AUTUMNLANDS: TOOTH & CLAW REVEALS KARL KERSCHL VARIANT COVER
The fourth issue of the fantasy epic from Busiek and Dewey will feature a special variant cover

THE AUTUMNLANDS: TOOTH & CLAW, the bestselling fantasy epic from writer Kurt Busiek (Marvels, Astro City), artist Benjamin Dewey (I Was the Cat, Tragedy Series), Eisner-winning colorist Jordie Bellaire (THE MANHATTAN PROJECTS, PRETTY DEADLY), and letterer John Roshell of Comicraft, will feature the bold and enchanting artwork of Karl Kerschl (Gotham Academy, The Abominable Charles Christopher).

“I've been a huge fan of Karl Kerschl's for years,” said Busiek. “Not only is he a brilliant artist, but in Charles Christopher, he's proved that he can draw animals more expressively that just about anyone—he's up there with Walt Kelly. So I was thrilled he was up for doing an AUTUMNLANDS cover, and his portrait of Councillor Sandorst is so perfect Ben Dewey said Karl should take over the book. I think we'll stick with Ben, but damn, that's a sweet cover...!”

In THE AUTUMNLANDS: TOOTH & CLAW #4, with the Great Champion out of the way, the city is vulnerable to Goodfoot's machinations.

TOOTH AND CLAW #4 (Diamond Code DEC140770) will be available on 2/18. Cover by Kerschl will be available with Diamond Code DEC148186.
