BOOM! STUDIOS Announces Talent and Panels for 2015 Baltimore Comic-Con

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND - September 9, 2015 - Award-winning comic book publisher BOOM! Studios is excited to announce it will once again return to the Charm City to exhibit at Baltimore Comic-Con, which will take place at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland, during the weekend of September 25-27.
BOOM! can be found at booth number 2001 and will host artist Brooke A. Allen (Lumberjanes) and writer Matthew Daley (Lantern City) all weekend. Daley will be joined on Saturday, September 26 by actor Raphael Sbarge (Once Upon a Time), who is attached to star in the Lantern City television series currently in development. In addition to signing, Allen will be sketching all weekend. For $30, fans can purchase a customized illustration of their choice by Allen on a blank sketch cover of a Lumberjanes comic.
The publisher will host signings at its booth with Mark Waid (Strange Fruit, Irredeemable), J.G. Jones (Strange Fruit), and Brian Stelfreeze (Day Men). Fans should check at the booth at the show for a schedule.
Other BOOM! Lantern City is an exciting, new steampunk comic series just launched by Archaia and Macrocosm Entertainment, featuring wondrous settings, engaging characters, and of course, some great costumes. Come explore the development of the series and see exclusive behind-the-scenes content with co-creator Matthew James Daley, actor Raphael Sbarge (Once Upon a Time), and BOOM! editor Dafna Pleban, and learn what's new with the development of the proposed television series. BOOM! Studios Celebrates 10 Years and Push Comics Forward

2015 marks the 10th year of publishing for BOOM! Studios, a multiple Harvey Award-winning top 10 comic publisher. Rather than look back at what we achieved the past 10 years, join us as we look ahead to the next 10 years and how we can all push comics forward. Moderated by BOOM! Studios President of Publishing & Marketing Filip Sablik, join Mark Waid (Strange Fruit, Irredeemable, Kingdom Come), J.G. Jones (Strange Fruit, Wanted), James Tynion IV (The Woods), Brian Stelfreeze (Day Men), Brooke Allen (Lumberjanes), and BOOM! Studios editor Dafna Pleban as they highlight the changes in the industry and what they want to see in comics.
BOOM! Studios is nominated for 15 Harvey Awards, whose winners will be announced during a ceremony and banquet held during Baltimore Comic-Con on Saturday evening, September 26th.
