2050 Events, Inc. goes beyond bringing extraordinary entertainment to Daytona Beach by giving back to the local community. The company has started an annual tradition of supporting five non-profit organizations with a gift of 5% of net convention proceeds allocated to the group of charities. Creative Director Lanie Stevens explains: "When we first conceived the 2050 Event it became apparent that we wanted our contribution to reach beyond our valued fans and into those communities where many heroic challenges are faced every day; to those who help to integrate our residents with special needs, to those who help the homeless or provide shelter and care for the legions of abandoned animals and of course, to those who dedicate their time to foster the ambitions and values of our youth. To this end we created The 2050 Five initiative.”  For its inaugural year, the convention’s charitable beneficiaries are The Arc Volusia, Boys & Girls Clubs of Volusia/Flagler Counties, Early Learning Coalition of Flagler & Volusia, Southeast Volusia Humane Society and Junior Achievement of Central Florida.

With its outstanding array of activities and entertainment for all ages and its stellar list of guests, 2050 Daytona Beach is ‘the’ place to be the weekend of October 30th through November 1st.  Bring the whole family and make this Halloween one to remember.
