DARK HORSE PROMOTES NEW DIRECTOR OF SALES

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: MILWAUKIE, OR—Dark Horse is pleased to announce the promotion of Sarah Robertson to the role of director of sales. Effective immediately, Robertson will serve as the head of the Dark Horse Comics sales division.
Robertson will be responsible for business development, overseeing the in-house sales team, managing distributor and retailer relationships, sales forecasting, increasing department performance, and other functions key to leading Dark Horse’s in-house sales division.
“Sarah has been an energetic, intelligent, and inspirational leader of the sales team,” said Dark Horse’s executive vice president, Neil Hankerson. “We are pleased that she accepted her new position as director of sales.”
Robertson began her career at Dark Horse Comics in June 2008 as an account executive and was promoted to manager of sales in January 2013.
“I’m very happy to be continuing my time as part of the Dark Horse family with this new title,” said Robertson. “I have a wonderful team who have been beside me all the way and look forward to taking the department even further as director.”
A graduate of Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Robertson received her bachelor of commerce degree with a major in global business management. In her free time, Robertson enjoys voice acting and has had roles in the video games Gone Home (2013), Dragon Age: Inquisition (2014), and Tacoma (2016).
