SOUTHERN BREWED HORROR CANNIBAL HITS PAPERBACK
The first four issues collected in trade paperback this March

New York Times bestselling writer Brian Buccellato (SONS OF THE DEVIL, The Flash, Injustice), cowriter Jennifer Young, and artist Matías Bergara (Sons of Anarchy) will release the first trade paperback collection of their ongoing Southern Gothic series CANNIBAL this March from Image Comics.

A Category 5 hurricane sweeps through the Southeast, uprooting ancient mosquitoes carrying a virus that causes the infected to crave human flesh. One year later, with no cure in sight, the region has become split over what to do with the victims. For the Hansen family, the answer is simple: kill them. However, all of that changes when the virus infects people they love. CANNIBAL is about a small Everglades town that is just trying to hold on to their everyday lives at the dawn of a cannibal pandemic. Told through the eyes of the Hansen family, it’s an anti-apocalypse story about a community that is too damn stubborn to give in.

CANNIBAL VOLUME 1 (ISBN: 978-1-5343-0054-5) hits comic book stores on Wednesday, March 8th and bookstores on Tuesday, March 14th. It can be ordered by retailers with Diamond code JAN170782, and it is available for preorder via Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Indiebound, and Indigo.
