LOS ANGELES...March 24, 2011— Stars from the hit FOX series So You Think You Can Dance will offer a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn some special dance moves from some of the series’ past dancers and all stars at the inaugural Reality Rocks Expo, the ultimate reality TV experience, about the fans, for the fans and by the fans, April 9-10, 2011. These So You Think You Can Dance stars join what is already a star-studded cast of reality TV favorites that includes previously announced Nick Cannon, Adrianne Curry, Christopher Knight, DeAnna Pappas, Audrina Patridge, Eric Roberts, Karina Smirnoff, and previous contestants and cast members from American Idol, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Project Runway, The Real World, Survivor, The Amazing Race, RuPaul’s Drag Race, and top shows from Food Network, Cooking Channel and Bravo. The Reality Rocks Expo will feature two jam-packed days filled with previews of brand-new television shows, meet & greets with fan-favorite reality TV stars and insightful panel discussions, as well as a special VIP Awards program for the Reality Rocks Fan Awards honoring fans’ favorite talent and programs, when the expo comes to the Los Angeles Convention Center April 9th-10th, 2011. On Saturday, April 9th, the stars of So You Think You Can Dance will create an intimate interactive experience with fans attending Reality Rocks, when they choreograph a special dance that fans will then have the chance to perform. Additionally, the talent will participate in a panel discussion and audience Q&A about their experience on So You Think You Can Dance, moderated by Lyndsey Parker, Yahoo! Music managing editor and So You Think You Can Dance fan. The panel will be followed by a special meet & greet and autograph session for fans. Among the So You Think You Can Dance stars expected are Kûpono Aweau (Season 5 finalist), Kent Boyd (Season 7 finalist), Comfort Fedoke (Season 4 finalist and an All-Star), Lauren Froderman (Season 7 winner), Lauren Gottlieb (Season 3 finalist and an All-Star), Gev Manoukian (Season 4 finalist), Robert Roldan (Season 7 finalist), Chelsea Traille (Season 4 finalist), and Will Wingfield (Season 4 finalist). Hosted by Cat Deeley, and featuring judges Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy, the hit dance competition series inspires and amazes viewers as dancers skilled in styles ranging from hip-hop to ballroom compete to be named America’s Favorite Dancer. Season 8 of America’s favorite summer series will premiere Thursday, May 26th (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
