LOS ANGELES...March 22, 2011— Bunim/Murray Productions will bring some of the biggest programming from Reality television to the LA Convention Center, including stars and producers from Keeping up with the Kardashians, The Real World, Project Runway, The Bad Girls Club, Married to Rock, and The Challenge for the Inaugural Reality Rock Expo, the ultimate reality TV Experience, about the fans, for the fans and by the fans, April 9-10, 2011. These are the newest names to join what is already a star-studded cast of previously announced reality TV favorites that includes Nick Cannon, Adrianne Curry, Christopher Knight, DeAnna Pappas, Audrina Patridge, Eric Roberts, Karina Smirnoff, and cast members of American Idol, Survivor, The Amazing Race, RuPaul’s Drag Race, and top shows from Food Network, Cooking Channel and Bravo. The Reality Rocks Expo will feature two jam-packed days filled with previews of brand new television shows, meet & greets with everyone’s favorite reality TV stars, insightful panel discussions as well as a special VIP Awards program for the Reality Rocks Fan Awards honoring fans’ favorite talent and programs when the expo comes to the Los Angeles Convention Center April 9-10, 2011. On Saturday, fans will be treated to a behind-the-scenes look at the history of Bunim/Murray Productions, the production company responsible for such reality hits as Keeping Up with the Kardashians, The Real World and Project Runway, among others. The Bunim/Murray panel will feature a historical look at the company led by Jonathan Murray, the founder and chairman of Bunim/Murray Productions, as well as a discussion with Jim Johnston, Executive Producer of The Real World, Jeff Jenkins, Executive Producer of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and Sara Rea, Executive Producer of Project Runway about the current state of affairs for these programs as well as The Bad Girls Club, Married To Rock, The Challenge and the upcoming Saddle Ranch. Cast members including Bruce and Kris Jenner (Keeping Up with the Kardashians), Billy Duffy, AJ Celi, Steve and Josie Stevens (Married to Rock), Mike Costello (Project Runway), Sarah Rice (The Real World – Brooklyn and The Challenge), Tanisha Thomas (The Bad Girls Club and Love Games) and Mike Manning (The Real World - DC), plus other surprise celebrity guests will then join the panel for a fun-filled, audience-driven Q&A. Additionally, Murray will be presented with the Trailblazer award at the Reality Rocks Fan Awards on Saturday evening by Bruce and Kris Jenner, for his contribution to the “reality/lifestyle” genre and consistently creating the most compelling and thought-provoking programming with extended brand franchises.
