Brett Booth, Jay Fotos, Mark Kidwell and Ethan Vansciver Join PHXCC 2013

Phoenix Comicon is proud to announce that comic book artists Brett Booth, Jay Fotos, Mark Kidwell and Ethan Vansciver will be attending Comicon 2013.

“We love our comic book guests here at Phoenix Comicon and this year's group is going to be nothing short of fantastic,” says Marketing Director Jillian Squires.

Brett Booth (who will be available on Friday and Saturday only) is best known for his work on a character, Backlash that he co-created at the Windstorm Studios. After his time at Wildstrom, Booth illustrated some of Marvel Comics' well known characters such as Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four and the X-Men.
Jay Fotos and Mark Kidwell are two members of the creative team behind the zombie series '68. Fotos has worked on hundres of projects for nearly every major comic book publisher. He also helped found Frazetta Comics. In addition to his work on '68, Kidwell is also the author/illustrator of dozens of comic books in the horror genre as well as writing mutiple screenplays, including BUMP.
Ethan Vansciver is best known for illustrating a number of titles including Green Lantern (2004-2008, 2012), Superman/Batman (2006), New X-Men (2001) and The Flash: Rebirth miniseries (2009).

Phoenix Comicon is the signature pop culture experience of the southwest. Comicon is presenting guests and programming for hobbyists by attracting the top segments of the comics, anime, sci-fi, film, tv, and gaming industries. Entering its eleventh year, Phoenix Comicon is expected to draw over 40,000 attendees to its May 23-26, 2013 convention held at the Phoenix Convention Center and Hyatt Regency in Downtown Phoenix.
