Terry Moore, Rick Remender and Arthur Suydam Join PHXCC 2013

Phoenix Comicon is proud to announce that comic book artists Terry Moore, Rick Remender and Arthur Suydam will be attending Comicon 2013.

“We are very excited to have such a wide range of comic book artists to welcome to Phoenix Comicon this year,” says Marketing Director Jillian Squires.

Terry Moore is graphic novelist and illustrator best known as the creator of the popular series Strangers in Paradise. He was also involved in the founding of Homage Comics. In 1996, he received the Eisner Award for Best Serialized Story for Strangers in Paradise #1-8.

Rick Remender has worked for Dark Horse, Image and Marvel comics on several notable works such as Punisher (2008-2011), Fear Agent (2005-2011), Uncanny X-Force (2011-2012) and Venom (2011-2012).

Arthur Suydam is an artist who has done artwork for magazines Heavy Metal, Epic Illustrated and National Lampoon. He has also done comic book work for Batman, Conan, Tarzan, Predator, and Marvel Zombies.

Phoenix Comicon is the signature pop culture experience of the southwest. Comicon is presenting guests and programming for hobbyists by attracting the top segments of the comics, anime, sci-fi, film, tv, and gaming industries. Entering its eleventh year, Phoenix Comicon is expected to draw over 40,000 attendees to its May 23-26, 2013 convention held at the Phoenix Convention Center and Hyatt Regency in Downtown Phoenix.
