Award-winning 'Adventure Time'
Creative Team Passes the Torch

December 11,  2014 - Los Angeles, CA - After three years of adventures in Ooo, the Eisner and Harvey Award-winning creative team of Ryan North (The Midas Flesh, The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl) and artists Shelli Paroline and Braden Lamb (The Midas Flesh) are giving Finn and Jake one last high-five and moving on from KaBOOM!’s Adventure Time comics, welcoming a new creative team to the series. The team is leaving on a high note, with 35 amazing issues and a fist-bump-worthy legacy.
North, Paroline, and Lamb are keeping busy in the comics world, as the team’s first trade paperback for The Midas Flesh, the first collection for the fledgling BOOM! Box imprint, hit shelves on December 10th with a cover by Emily Partridge. North will also be writing for Marvel’s upcoming series The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, while Paroline and Lamb are creating special variant covers for the 10 Years of BOOM! celebration.
The new creative team of Chris Hastings (The Adventures of Dr. McNinja) and Zachary Sterling (Adventure Time: Seeing Red) begin at issue #36, starting a new chapter in the world of Ooo.

The California couple is blown away by a week filled with all things Hobbit, immersing themselves in the iconic locales of Peter Jackson’s Hobbit movie trilogy. The couple crosses off a bucket list item when they herd Merino sheep that produce the same high-quality wool used to make Gandalf’s costume. Each day is jam-packed with fantastical activities from the film, including: rappelling into Waitomo Caves, where some of the audio was recorded for Gollum; dining on lamb and field greens at Beorn’s house, the shape-shifting character; trekking amongst the Shire’s Hobbit holes; and an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Weta Workshop special effects studio…with a Gandalf-garbed Kreischer and the founder and creative director of Weta as their guides! BERT KREISCHER, Host of “Trip Flip”       
Bert Kreischer is a comedian, author and – since his college days – has mastered the art of fun.  For the past 15 years, he has been entertaining audiences throughout the world as he journeys from city to city with his unique brand of comedy.  Kreischer found his way to Travel Channel in 2009 and stands among the Network’s most popular hosts.  He is currently the host of Travel Channel’s series “Trip Flip,” which features Kreischer as he takes two people on a spontaneous surprise adventure.  As a professional fun seeker, Kreischer delivers an action-packed and customized itinerary stacked with the kind of VIP-access, accommodations, gourmet food, unexpected twists and celebrity appearances that only Travel Channel can deliver.

The first episode of Sons of Anarchy: The Prospect sets the stage for a brand new way to take in the Sons of Anarchy universe. Fans of the wildly popular TV series, which is currently wrapping up its seventh and final season on FX, will have a chance to explore an original story, location and previously unknown chapter of the motorcycle club. The interactive, episode-based game takes players on a new ride, with additional episodes becoming available on an ongoing basis. In keeping with the world Sutter has created, this extension of the mythology gives fans a chance to experience the treachery, graphic action, intrigue and life and death decision making they have come to anticipate from the show.
Orpheus, a freshly-formed Canadian game studio comprised of game development talent with multiple blockbusters under their belts, acquired the rights to make a game using the Sons of Anarchy license in 2013. MASTER KEATON introduces Taichi Hiraga Keaton, an archeology professor and part-time insurance investigator known for his successful and unorthodox methods of investigation. Naoki Urasawa's career as a manga artist spans more than twenty years and has firmly established him as one of the true manga masters of Japan. Born in Tokyo in 1960, Urasawa debuted with Beta! in 1983 and hasn't stopped his impressive output since.
