New creativity has been crucial to the success of comics and drives the most compelling stories out there. Founded by Marc Silvestri in 1992, Top Cow Productions soon made its name as the publisher of hit comics like Witchblade, The Darkness, and Cyberforce. The series stood the test of time, spawning a whole multimedia empire. TwoMorrows Publishing infects fans with Comic Book Fever this June
Author George Khoury's celebration of 1976-86 comics is a love-letter to his personal Golden Age

(Raleigh, NC) On June 22, TwoMorrows Publishing will expose fans to Comic Book Fever, their infectious new book celebrating comics from the magical era of 1976-1986, when comics offered all different genres to any kid with a pocketful of coins, at local establishments from 7-Elevens to their local drug store. George Khoury (author of The Extraordinary Works of Alan Moore, Kimota: The Miracleman Companion, and Image Comics: The Road to Independence) spent years penning this love letter to his personal golden age of comics, covering all the things that made those comics great—the top artists, the coolest stories, and even the best ads.

Inside this 240-page full-color hardcover ($39.95 cover price) are new articles, interviews, and images about the people, places, characters, titles, moments, and good times that inspired and thrilled fans in the Bronze Age: Neal Adams, John Romita, George Pérez, Marv Wolfman, Alan Moore, Denny O’Neil, Jim Starlin, José Luis García-López, The Hernandez Brothers, The Buscema Brothers, Stan Lee, Jack Davis, Jack Kirby, Kevin Eastman, Chris Claremont, Gerry Conway, Frank Miller and others.

It also covers the phenoms that delighted Baby Boomers, Generation X, and beyond: Uncanny X-Men, New Teen Titans, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Love and Rockets, Crisis On Infinite Earths, Superman vs. Spider-Man, Archie Comics, Harvey Comics, Kiss, Star Wars, Rom, Hostess Cake ads, Slurpee cups, Grit(!), and other milestones.

Kevin Eastman (co-creator of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) can't wait for it. (http://conta.cc/1QGsysf

Reviewer Dan Greenfield declares this book to be "the Bible of the post-Baby Boom". (http://bit.ly/24SJnrv

Even the MEGO Museum message boards are ablaze with love for the book. (http://bit.ly/1U4YoCH

With cover art and Introduction by superstar painter Alex Ross (featuring the character Snyderman from those unforgettable 1970s mail order ads), Comic Book Fever will send readers on a trip back in time to re-experience those epic stories, and feel the heat of that era once again. It is currently spotlighted and available for ordering in the March issue of Diamond Comic Distributor's Previews catalog, Item #MAR161774, and will be in comic book shops and bookstores worldwide on June 22. CARTOONIST SINA GRACE TO LAUNCH
SELF-OBSESSED
WEB SERIES

Inspired by acclaimed graphic novel, the five episode series stars
Grace, Amber Benson, Adam Busch & Jon Gabrus

Cartoonist Sina Grace will debut a web series based on his 2015 Image Comics graphic novel SELF-OBSESSED on Tuesday, March 22, 2016. Directed by friend and longtime collaborator on the hit comic series BURN THE ORPHANAGE, Daniel Freedman (Undying Love), SELF-OBSESSED is a comedic look at the life of a gay LA-based cartoonist who struggles to find his creative mojo amidst a break-up, a book cancellation, and an overall crisis of faith in his own work. Grace stars in the series alongside Amber Benson (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Adam Busch (Colony, Empire) and Jon Gabrus (MTV’s Guy Code, TVLand’s Younger).

When Sina breaks up with his latest boyfriend, he’s heart-broken. When the book he’s working on is cancelled, he’s devastated. SELF-OBSESSED follows Sina on a hilarious journey as he tries to rediscover his passions for drawing and life. From striking out at a gay bear sex party to getting sage advice from his best friend Amber to visiting an old flame Jon in San Francisco, Sina tries to keep it together. Will he remember why he started drawing in the first place or will he obsess over where he went wrong?

“Making the book Self-Obsessed taught me to follow every idea down every meta rabbit hole,” said Grace. “It seemed like the only logical next step to bare it all on screen, surrounded by my best friends.”

SELF-OBSESSED features a killer soundtrack thanks to musicians in and out of Los Angeles, such as Feels, Colleen Green, Nick Diamonds, Post Life, Hot as Sun, Exray’s, Caleb Nichols, Purr Snickety, Cold Showers, and more.

Mixed Martial Arts Legend George St-Pierre To Attend Wizard World Philadelphia June 4-5

Hugely Popular UFC World Champion ‘GSP’ To Greet Fans, Sign Autographs, Pose For Photo Ops In First Wizard World Appearance At Pennsylvania Convention Center

GSP_CAASpeakers_photo1-333.jpgPHILADELPHIA, March 8, 2016 – One of the most popular mixed martial arts fighters in the world, Georges St-Pierre will attend Wizard World Philadelphia on Sunday, June 5, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, it was announced today by the Quebec native and Wizard World, Inc. (OTCBB: WIZD). The three-time former UFC Welterweight champion, known by many as the best “pound-for-pound” MMA athlete ever, will greet fans, sign autographs and pose for photo ops at his first Wizard World comic con appearance.

Already a 2nd dan Kyokushin karate black belt at 12, Georges dedicated himself to martial arts and training throughout his teen years. After seeing jiu-jitsu legend Royce Gracie fight in 1993 at UFC 1, “Rush” knew exactly what he wanted to do with his life and how he was going to reach those goals: he invested all his energy and all his time at becoming a better version of himself. When he wasn’t training or at school, Georges worked as a doorman in nightclubs, or hung off the back of a garbage truck, hauling in refuse. He discovered a simple truth: never stopping helps reach goals.

He grew as a person and as a fighter, adding fighting disciplines such as boxing, wrestling, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to his karate background and competed in his first amateur bout at age 16. He won that match, and continued his steady improvement. In 2006 he became the UFC Welterweight Champion. He lost the title in 2007 but subsequently regained it in front of his hometown fans of Montreal in 2008 and hasn’t lost a single title defense since then.

Along his career, St-Pierre, 34, accomplished numerous firsts and awards including: the all-time most consecutive welterweight title defenses, three-time consecutive Canadian Athlete of the Year Awards (’08– ’10) by Rogers Sportsnet, Fighter of the Year Awards (’09) by Sports Illustrated , World MMA Awards, MMAPayout, Inside MMA and MMAJunkie, the “Most Dangerous Man of the Year” by the Spike Guys Choice Awards (’10) and the MMA Fighter of the Year Award (’08) by Black Belt Magazine .
St-Pierre is the author of the New York Times bestseller The Way of the Fight. Released in 2013, the book shares the lessons he’s learned on the way to the top. Later that year, St-Pierre officially announced that he had decided to vacate the title and take some time off from MMA, taking a role in the 2014 blockbuster Captain America: Winter Soldier. He has not ruled out a return to the ring in the future. GSP is based in Montreal.

St-Pierre, who appeared in  joins an amazing lineup of superstar entertainers scheduled to attend the pop culture extravaganza, including “Marvel” movie standouts Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston, David Duchovny ("The X-Files"), the Back to the Future trio of Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd and Lea Thompson and "The Walking Dead" standout Norman Reedus , with many other headliners.

Wizard World comic con and gaming events bring together thousands of fans of all ages to celebrate the best in pop-fi, pop culture, movies, graphic novels, cosplay, comics, television, sci-fi, toys, video gaming, gaming, original art, collectibles, contests and more. Philadelphia show hours are Thursday, June 2, 3-8 p.m.; Friday, June 3, noon-7 p.m.; Saturday, June 4, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; Sunday, June 5, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Graphic novelist Troy Little continues his tour for HUNTER S. THOMPSON'S FEAR AND LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS as Guest of Honor at THE MINT 400 in Las Vegas next month!

Plus: IDW announces new "Great White Whale" Edition, comic book mini-series packed with bonus features

San Diego, CA (March 8) – Back in 1971, Hunter S. Thompson was hired by a sports magazine to report on the famous Mint 400, a wild
off-road race through the desert outside Las Vegas. When the draft he
submitted — ten times the requested length — was "aggressively rejected" by
the magazine, Thompson re-fashioned it into Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. This "Savage Journey to the Heart of the American Dream," serialized across multiple issues of Rolling Stone, became an instant landmark of counterculture literature, gonzo journalism, and American
insight.

In recent years, the long-dormant Mint 400 has been revived from a two-decade hiatus to become bigger than ever — and Canadian artist Troy Little has adapted Hunter S. Thompson's seminal work into a graphic novel that critics call "outstanding" and "buzzing with manic energy."

Now, Troy Little heads back to Vegas to re-trace Thompson's steps, meeting fans and signing books as a Guest of Honor at the Mint 400, for
which he has drawn the official poster (March 10-12, 2016,
www.themint400.com). At the same time, IDW Publishing celebrates the
success of Little's stunning adaptation — and tips a hat to Rolling Stone — with HUNTER S. THOMPSON'S FEAR AND LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS: The "Great White Whale" Edition. This serialized edition presents the acclaimed
graphic novel as a comic book mini-series, featuring Little's original
never-before-seen black and-white artwork, and stuffed with new bonus
features.

The first 48-page issue will be available with multiple covers,
featuring brand-new designs by Troy Little and Jim Mahfood, plus a blank "sketch variant" cover. It launches in May — talk to your favorite
comic shop to reserve your copies today!

PRAISE FOR TROY LITTLE'S ADAPTATION OF HUNTER S. THOMPSON'S FEAR AND LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS:

"[Little's] talents make him perfectly comfortable with the elastic expressions required to recreate the exploits of Thompson and his companion, Dr. Gonzo, as they slingshot between mania, paranoia, rage, and
despair... the graphic-novel aspect adds layers to Thompson’s prose." — Quill & Quire

"Sheer expressiveness... captur[es] the sense of immediacy and paranoia that saturated the original’s long, bad trip… it’s a vivid insight
into one of the most fascinatingly creative and unwaveringly troubled
writers of his generation." — Publishers Weekly

"Raoul Duke and his Samoan attorney, Dr. Gonzo, come screaming into Las Vegas, searching for the American dream, destined to find only its
charred remains... [Troy] Little fits the sensibility of the original
comfortably into comics form." — Booklist

EAST OF WEST USHERS IN ITS SIXTH ARC

New York Times bestselling creative team Jonathan Hickman (THE MANHATTAN PROJECTS, THE DYING AND THE DEAD) and Nick Dragotta (HOWTOONS) will launch the sixth arc in their ongoing sci-fi western series EAST OF WEST this April.

Previously in EAST OF WEST, an impressive cavalcade of characters let loose their pawns in a cunning game of deception. Loyalties shifted, alliances were betrayed, old friends were murdered—all in service of, or to thwart, the Apocalypse.

In EAST OF WEST #25, the smashing conclusion of EAST OF WEST: YEAR TWO begins here. Witness the eventful last gathering of the Chosen before the Apocalypse begins. No one gets out alive!

“We’ve reached that wonderful part in the story where everything starts to go very, very wrong for everyone involved,” said Hickman. “And in a book that’s basically about the end of the world, I think we can promise only the most dramatic things for our characters.”

Dragotta added: “And visually, these are the really big scenes we’ve been building towards since the beginning of EAST of WEST. Not only do all of my favorite characters return, but the way in which they do so has been some of the most fun I’ve had drawing. Ever!”

EAST OF WEST #25 Cover A by Nick Dragotta (Diamond code: FEB160522) hits stores Wednesday, April 20th. EAST OF WEST #25 Cover B by Jonathan Hickman (Diamond code: FEB160523) will also be available Wednesday, April 20th. Final order cutoff deadline for retailers is Monday, March 28th.
