“ReBoot fans have been urging us to release the series on DVD,” said Terry Kalagian, VP of Business Development for Rainmaker. “We are overjoyed to have finally found the perfect partners at Shout! Factory to help give fans what they want.”

Hailed by critics and fans alike, ReBoot made history for being the first fully computer-generated animated TV series. ReBoot was originally seen on North American television in 1994 on YTV in Canada and on ABC Television in the U.S. The series ran four successful seasons and was eventually seen in over 70 countries around the world. The innovative animation, insider humor and high octane action combine to give fans a lot of binary bang for their buck.

Dot Matrix and her brother Enzo, plus thousands of friendly binomes, live in Mainframe, which is plagued by viruses Megabyte and sister strain Hexadecimal. Guardian Bob is sent from the Net to protect them, and soon makes it his home. Together, they must prevent Megabyte from taking control of all the systems. As an added complication, games being played by the mystical User invade the system regularly, and must be defeated, or else portions of the city are laid waste... this gives us a chance to see every genre of video-game ever conceived, from the point of view of the characters! When Megabyte finally manages to banish Bob, Enzo takes over as the city's Guardian, but things will never be quite the same.

Shout! Factory plans an aggressive rollout of the ReBoot home entertainment product-line, beginning with the collectible complete series DVD box set release and digital distribution in 2011.

In addition to developing its own properties, Rainmaker also produces feature length DVD's for many top international brands including Barbie, Max Steele, Tony Hawk, and more. DRAWN BY KHARY RANDOLPH

The third of three new ongoing series from
Stan Lee and BOOM! Studios!

Don't miss STAN LEE'S SOLDIER ZERO
in October
and
STAN LEE'S THE TRAVELER this November!

October 5, 2010 - Los Angeles, CA – BOOM! Studios and POW! Entertainment announced today that STAN LEE'S STARBORN #1 is available to pre-order from your local comic cook retailer. Debuting this December, STAN LEE'S STARBORN is a new ongoing series written by iZOMBIE's Chris Roberson and drawn by SPIDER-MAN's Khary Randolph.

STAN LEE'S STARBORN tells the story of a regular guy who discovers he's the heir to an intergalactic empire, putting him at the center of a war between five alien races.

"This powerhouse team-up of acclaimed sci-fi writer Chris Roberson and comic book visionary Stan Lee make STARBORN a thrilling space epic like nothing before seen in comics! Fans can't imagine the surprises STARBORN has in store." said BOOM! Studios Marketing Director Chip Mosher. "Combine the already sensational writing with the kinetic art of Khary Randolph you've got a story that moves worlds! Fans need to be sure to demand this book."

"Stan Lee, Chris Roberson and Khary Randolph build a universe and mythos so rich it can barely be contained in one series!" Says BOOM! Studios Editor-in-Chief Matt Gagnon. "This book explodes with pulse-pounding action, superb suspense and heart-wrenching drama that could only be brought by a mega collaboration like Lee, Roberson & Randolph!"

The December release of STAN LEE'S STARBORN #1 will mark the third of three titles debuting from Stan Lee and BOOM! Studios with STAN LEE'S SOLDIER ZERO #1 hitting store shelves in October and STAN LEE'S THE TRAVELER #1 shipping this November. All three titles were announced by Stan Lee during a press conference at Comic-Con International this past summer.

Premiering in October is STAN LEE'S SOLDIER ZERO. This ongoing series, written by DOCTOR WHO and ACTION COMICS scribe Paul Cornell with art by SUPERMAN artist Javier Pina, tells the story of a wheelchair-bound astronomy teacher who finds himself in a freak accident that bonds him with an alien weapon of war.

Hitting shelves this November is STAN LEE'S THE TRAVELER. This series, written by Eisner and Harvey Award-nominee Mark Waid (IRREDEEMABLE, KINGDOM COME) with art by AMAZING SPIDER-MAN artist Chad Hardin, features a mysterious new superhero with time-traveling powers battling the Split-Second Men, super-powered assassins from the future. THE TRAVELER ships this November.

The revelation this past March of Stan Lee presenting this series of three superhero titles at BOOM! followed on the heels of a viral marketing campaign announcing “Stan’s Back” that hit the internet in late February. The L.A. Times’ Hero Complex & L.A. Times’ Brand-X also got in on the action, running the “Stan’s Back” campaign in print and on their respective websites. All the banner ads linked back to www.stansback.com, a site which had only the “Stan’s Back” logo and nothing else disclosing additional information.

For one week, the internet was in a frenzy, with comic fans everywhere trying to figure out what the “Stan’s Back” teaser campaign meant. This culminated with the announcement that Stan Lee is back, this time at BOOM! Studios, creating a line of three new superheroes.

Fans then had to wait until the press conference at Comic-Con International this summer for POW! Entertainment and BOOM! Studios to reveal the characters, series and creative teams for the three superhero titles. Attended by Stan Lee, Paul Cornell, Mark Waid, Chris Roberson and BOOM! Studios Publisher Ross Richie, the announcement garnered press from all over the world including news outlets like CNN, Wired and covered extensively by one of the biggest news sites in China and all over the globe.

STAN LEE'S STARBORN #1 solicitation appears in this months' issue of Diamond Previews letting fans know about this not-to-be missed publishing event of the year.

GRAPHIC GUARDIAN
RIAN HUGHES’ groundbreaking strip for The Guardian collected for the first time this December

Berkeley, CA - 5 October 2010 - Berkeley, CA - Celebrated designer and illustrator RIAN HUGHES first explored the possibilities of Adobe Illustrator's vector drawing tools with "On the Line," a unique newspaper strip written by Rick Wright that ran in The Guardian, one of the United Kingdom's largest daily newspapers. This December, the strip gets its first-ever collection with ON THE LINE, a gorgeous new hardcover from Image Comics.

With ON THE LINE, Hughes forged a modern design-savvy approach that still tips the hat to classic UPA cartoons and the angular work of Gene Dietch. Bold, graphic and expressive, this collection brings together every strip for the very first time, including some unpublished rarities, in a neat hardback designed by Hughes in a pocket-sized format.

ON THE LINE (OCT100472), a 48-page black-and-white pocket-sized hardcover collecting celebrated designer Rian Hughes' newspaper strips for The Guardian, will be in stores December 1, 2010, for $12.99. YESTERDAY'S TOMORROWS TP (SEPT100434), a 264-page full-color anthology collecting several stories illustrated by Hughes, will be in stores November 3, 2010.

Some praise for Rian Hughes:

"Rian Hughes, the man who's done more for comic book design than anybody else, ever." - www.talkaboutcomics.com

"One of the most successful and prolific designer/illustrators of the past 20 years" - Roger Sabin, Eye magazine

"Try a death tango in the upper levels of the stratosphere with smoky Cyrillic logos wrapped around your fuselage and raw Letraset moire crackling away in the rearview and then maybe you'll earn my respect the way Rian Hughes earned my respect long ago." - Grant Morrison

A HEAD PUNTING KICK-OFF TO A HIT NEW IMAGE SERIES!
Second Printing of SKULLKICKERS #1 blazes through inventory before release, Third Printing on its way

Berkeley, CA - 4 October 2010 - After an early distribution-level sell out of the first printing of SKULLKICKERS #1, additional orders for the second printing have built far quicker than expected and Image Comics has authorized a rush third printing of the hit first issue to meet reorder demand!

SKULLKICKERS #1, written and drawn by newcomers Jim Zubkavich and Edwin Huang respectively, has whipped up excitement among readers of all stripes. The third printing of SKULLKICKERS, with a brand new cover by Chris Stevens and Saejin Oh, will arrive in stores October 27.

"Edwin, Misty and I are all unbelievably thrilled that retailers, readers and reviewers are responding so strongly to the first issue," says Zubkavich "When you launch something new like this, you hope it will connect with an audience. We wanted to make a fun action romp and, from what we're seeing, that's what the market was ready for. Thank you, everyone!"

In SKULLKICKERS, two mercenaries are entangled in a high-class assassination plot, and nothing -- not werewolves, skeletons or black magic -- will stop them from getting paid. If you love fantasy, action-comedy, a touch of black-hearted violence and movies like ARMY OF DARKNESS then SKULLKICKERS is the book for you!

SKULLKICKERS #1 Third Printing (AUG108191), a 32-page full-color comic book for $2.99, will be in stores October 27, 2010. SKULLKICKERS #2 (AUG100490) arrives in stores one week earlier, on October 20. Follow the Skullkickers blog at www.skullkickers.com for sneak peeks and more.
