During the discussion, Dabb speaks about finding his niche as a successful adaptor of such varied properties as Dungeons & Dragons , G.I. Joe and The Ghostbusters, his collaboration with legendary artist Seth Fisher and writing Japanese science-fiction. While speaking on the subject of writer's block, Dabb had this to say:

"I believe that writer's block, to the extent it actually occurs and I'm sure it does, is self-inflicted. When you're legitimately engaged and excited about a project, it's fun to sit down and write for hours. But by contrast, when you're doing something out of obligation, or for the paycheck, or pounding on an idea that just won't work for some reason, that flashing cursor becomes your enemy."

ComicBloc (www.comicbloc.com ) is a conglomerate of members and readers that seeks to elevate the status of the sequential art into the mainstream. This is a weekly series featured exclusively at ComicBloc. Past guests include, HACK/Slash creator Tim Seeley, Virgin Comics Editor Ron Marz, Wildstorm: Armageddon author Christos N. Gage, Whiteout author Greg Rucka and Dynamo 5 creator Jay Faerber.
