March 18, 2008 - Seattle, WA – Gruesome doesn't begin to describe the ghoulish visage of Andrew, the newest in The CS Moore Studio's series of Walking Dead Torso Statuettes. This May, attendees of the Emerald City ComiCon, the premier comic book and pop culture convention in the Pacific Northwest, will be able to purchase a special limited edition of the Andrew statuette.
"We couldn't resist doing something cool for the Emerald City ComiCon," said Clayburn Moore. "This is our first time exhibiting at the show and we wanted to start with a splash, and what better way to do that than creating a unique collectible in the spirit of the 'emerald city?'"
Limited to only 300 pieces, the "Emerald" variant of Andrew is sculpted by Moore and features a custom green paint job created exclusively for the show.
"I love being able to bring fans some cool exclusives for the show," said Emerald City Organizer Jim Demonakos. "Working with the folks at The CS Moore Studio to make this happen has been a real treat and I’m glad to finally be able to show off the fruit of our labors."
The statuette will be available at the CS Moore Studio booth while supplies last and will retail for $30.00.
The Sixth Annual Emerald City ComiCon takes place at the Washington State Convention & Trade Center in beautiful downtown Seattle, Washington on May 10th & 11th, 2008. Visit http://www.emeraldcitycomicon.com for complete details.
The CS Moore Studio Ltd. was founded by sculptor Clayburn Moore. With over 15 years' experience in the collectibles business, Moore now directs the CS Moore Studio Ltd, which creates licensed statues, busts, and more based on noted comic book and fantasy properties, as well as original creations.
