FUN HOUSE at SCOPE MIAMI 2008, by FriendsWithYou
Long-time STRANGEco partners FriendsWithYou (aka Sam Borkson and Arturo Sandoval III) have been commissioned to design a special lounge space for the SCOPE Art Fair at Art Basel Miami. Titled Fun House, the commission is an interactive exhibition for all ages, with a giant anthropomorphic bounce house centerpiece. The Fun House presides over an array of interactive seating structures and custom furniture a village of mystical counterparts - for relaxation, conversation and fun. The colorful lounge space thematically focuses on the Wish Come True characters which first appeared in the popular collectible toy series produced by STRANGEco. In addition to Fun House, limited edition StrangeCo x FriendsWithYou merchandise, plus fine art pieces ranging from watercolors to large scale installation pieces, will be available in a pop up shop directly inside the lounge
