Outlaw Entertainment To Hold International Artist Search

Winner to receive $1000.00

June 9, 2009: Outlaw Entertainment has announced the start of an international artist search, the purpose of which is to bring attention to new and undiscovered talent looking to break into the industry.

Aspiring artists interested in participating are asked to complete a five page sequential sample based on an existing Outlaw Entertainment script and submit the pages prior to the July 15th deadline date. The winner will receive $1000.00 (US) and will be announced at the 2009 San Diego Comic Con.

“A contest like this gives artists who normally wouldn’t have the opportunity to be seen a chance to have their work displayed by industry professionals,” states Jason M. Burns, Outlaw Entertainment’s editor in chief. “A lot of times it’s just about putting yourself in the right place at the right time, and for one lucky artist, this will be that time.”

Two runners up will also receive one copy of every Outlaw Entertainment graphic novel published between June 2009 and June 2010… More than a dozen books.

“The money and the prizes are great, but this is a chance for someone somewhere to begin their career,” continues Burns. “All it takes is that one break, and Outlaw Entertainment is excited to be the starting point for undiscovered talent.”
