HEAVY.COM & LIQUID COMICS LAUNCH DIGITAL COMIC BOOK PROGRAM ONLINE
New York City – July 14, 2010. Heavy.com and Liquid Comics announced today a partnership to bring Liquid Comics digital editions directly to Heavy’s audience of more than 5.5 million unique users online (comScore Media Metrix – June 2010). The announcement was made in advance of Comic Con International 2010 to be held in San Diego, California, July 22-25, 2010.
The partnership launches with over 11 original digital comics that Liquid has created with such notables as actors Edward Burns and Nicolas Cage, film directors Guy Ritchie, John Moore and Shekhar Kapur, author and lecturer Deepak Chopra, and Eurythmics founder and musician Dave Stewart. Heavy and Liquid Comics will continue to release new titles over the course of the next year with a number of new titles expected to be released each month.
