After months of anticipation and over 150 entries, Project: Rooftop is proud to announce the winners of its "Spider-Man: Webhead 2.0" Redesign contest. After P:R's regular contributors and guest judges from iFanboy.com critiqued the results, the ultimate winner of the contest is Mike Dimayuga with this stunning entry.
Artists Brett Howard and Rosy Higgins came in with 2nd and 3rd Place positions respectfully, and a host of artists earned Honorable Mentions for their diverse designs.
"We were honored to participate in the latest round of Project Rooftop, especially with the subject being the legendary Spider-Man," said Ron Richards, co-founder of iFanboy "Josh Flanagan, Conor Kilpatrick and myself are huge fans of Project Rooftop, with it being one of the most creative ways to showcase up and coming artistic talent in the comic book industry. We had a blast re-imagining Spider-Man with all the artists and the other judges!"
The event has been sponsored by the comics store Flying Colors Comics, based in Concord, California. The store, which celebrates its 23rd Anniverary on September 17th, is owned by ComicsPRO President and founder of Free Comic Book Day, Joe Field.
Thanks to Paul Milligan for designing our contest logo!
