ARCANA - New web site sports Steampunk theme & all the bells and whistles.

VANCOUVER (Mar 6, 2012)Arcana Comics is going through a lot of changes in 2012! The latest is a complete overhaul of their web site, Arcana.com, which has an impressive array of new features and a Steampunk motif.

Of the Steampunk style to the new site, Sean Patrick O'Reilly says, "The thought occurred to me that there's so much potential with Steampunk and the culture is so rich, you can't help but be inspired by it... "

Aside from the new look, the new site pulls together many aspects of Arcana's "culture". From Books to Apps, Store to Press, Newsletter to Social Media, the site brings everything Arcana to your fingertips. On the main page, you'll see a banner near the top featuring some of Arcana's latest and greatest news. Off to the side, the latest Twitter and Facebook posts are listed as well as the latest coverage on Arcana from other sites.

Our Titles section shows off our full library, but be sure to click on them, because every title is linked to any available books for purchase within the Arcana Store, which has also been revamped.

Below is a screen shot of our main site. As you can see, it's currently showing off Intrinsic, which launches on Free Comic Book Day 2012 (May 5th).

If you click on a specific title in the Titles section, you'll see all of the formats the book is available for, print and digital, and you'll have the opportunity to see previews of some of the books! In the Dragons vs. Dinosaurs example below, if you click on the large cover on the right or "READ THE PREVIEW" it gives you access to a twenty-seven page preview of the book! Browse around in the titles to see what other previews are available.

And, don't forget, Arcana has apps! There's the official Arcana Comics App, which features a full line of graphic novels available for digital download and exclusive previews, PLUS our popular Gwaii App for the iPad and iPhone. If you haven't checked them out, be sure to!
