SAN DIEGO, July 3^rd, 2013 – IGN is teaming up with Focus Features to host their annual invitation-only Comic-Con launch party at the Hard Rock Hotel on Thursday, July 18^th in celebration of the epic finale to Edgar Wright’s “Blood & Ice Cream” trilogy, THE WORLD’S END.  The eagerly anticipated comedy stars Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Paddy Considine, Martin Freeman, Eddie Marsan, and Rosamund Pike.

Twelve lucky fans will win access to the party after competing in THE WORLD’S END: IGN Fan Crawl, a trivia event featuring all things Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz!

The three-hour Crawl will commence at 1:00 PM on Thursday afternoon at The Commons SD (www.thecommonssd.com) and proceed to the Hotel Solamar and Hard Rock Hotel until twelve winners emerge victorious.  “Good food, fine ales and total annihilation” await all participants in the Crawl.  There will also be special prize giveaways, including passes to a sneak screening on Friday night!

THE WORLD’S END Comic-Con party will be held on Thursday, July 18^th from 7:00-11:00 PM at the Hard Rock Hotel’s Float Bar with director Edgar Wright and stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost in attendance.  The trio will also be participating in THE WORLD’S END panel in Hall H on Friday, July 19^th.
