NBM Announces Jesse Lonergan's ALL STAR To Debut Digitally Before Print
First Chapter Available For 99 cents Starting Today on Comixology
Subsequent Chapters on Sale For $1.99 Each
NBM Publishing is proud to announce the digital launch of ALL STAR, the latest book by Jesse Lonergan (Joe & Azat and Flower & Fade), which debuts today on Comixology.
Set at the end of the school year in 1998 when Mark McGwire is racing Sammy Sosa to break the home run record, Bill Clinton is being questioned about a White House intern named Monica Lewinsky, and Semisonic's Closing Time is on top of the charts, Carl Carter is leading the Elizabeth Monarchs of rural Vermont to the state championship in his senior year.
A full scholarship to the University of Maine is waiting for him, and everyone says he has a shot at the pros.
He?s so good he can do whatever he wants.
Until he makes one very arrogant mistake.
ALL STAR Chapter One is being released today for 99 cents on Comixology, with Chapter 2 being released on 2/19, Chapters 3 & 4 on 2/26, Chapters 5 & 6 on 3/5 and Chapters 7 & 8 on 3/12 for $1.99. Prior to the digital release, Lonergan distributed a mini-comic version of ALL STAR at Mocca, SPX and other Comic Conventions.
The ALL STAR book from NBM will be in comic shops on March 12th with a general trade release on April 1, 2014.
