THE SHADOW OF OZ TAROT DECK KICKSTARTER GOES LIVE

[Santa Clara] Local comic book publishers Illogical Associates announce the launch of their Kickstarter to produce The Shadow of Oz: A Tarot Deck. The Kickstarter began February 15, 2014.

Illogical Associates, publishers of the critically acclaimed comic Dorothy, are going back to Oz with a full color 78 card tarot deck featuring characters from the beloved series by L. Frank Baum. The art on the cards will be provided by some of the comic industry’s biggest names, including Ben Templesmith, Trina Robbins, Darick Robertson, Eric Shanower, Jimmie Robinson, Steve Leialohoa, and more. Kickstarter is a platform for crowd-funding projects. Project creators set a funding goal and deadline, and those who are interested can pledge money toward that funding goal. The project must receive sufficient pledges to fulfill the funding goal by the deadline or no money changes hands. The Shadow of Oz Kickstarter has pledging levels from $5 to $1,500, with perks commensurate to each level.

Illogical Associates is a comic book publishing company run by Anna Warren Cebrian and Mark Anthony Masterson, which publishes the multi-media, modern Oz comic, Dorothy. Anna Warren Cebrian is also the owner of Illusive Comics & Games, the Silicon Valley’s largest comic book and game store.
