‘VERONICA MARS’ TAKEOVER OF PIVOT,
PARTICIPANT MEDIA’S TV NETWORK,
BEGINS WEDNESDAY, MARCH 12
In anticipation of the upcoming Veronica Mars
film hitting theaters this Friday, Pivot, Participant Media's TV
Network targeting Millennials, will feature 23-hours of the cult-hit
with a back-to-back marathon beginning Wednesday, March 12 at 1:00AM ET / 10:00PM PT and running through Thursday, March 13 at 12:00AM ET/9:00PM PT.
Pivot’s Veronica Mars
take-over includes the series pilot, the last two episodes of season
two and the entire season three including the series finale.
Interspersed
with the iconic episodes are original interviews with the cast,
producers, scholars and some of the the show's biggest fans who share
their favorite moments and talk about the lasting impact this series
made on them and the television landscape.
The award-winning series Veronica Mars, which aired from 2004-2007 stars Kristen Bell as a student who progresses from high school to college while moonlighting as a private investigator under
the tutelage of her detective father. In each episode, Veronica solves a
different stand-alone case while working to solve a more complex
mystery. The Kickstarter campaign for the Veronica Mars movie
raised $5.5 million from more than 90,000 contributors. The series was
created by award-winning screenwriter Rob Thomas; produced by Warner
Bros. Television, Silver Pictures Television, Stu Segall Productions,
Inc. and Rob Thomas Productions.
