October 7,  2014 - Los Angeles, CA - Award-winning publisher BOOM! Studios is pleased to announce that the Day Men Vol. 1 trade paperback, which collects the first four issues of the thrilling series by industry legend Brian Stelfreeze (Wednesday Comics) and writers Matt Gagnon (Freelancers) and Michael Alan Nelson (Hexed), is set to debut this November at the introductory price of just $9.99. Critically acclaimed, Day Men features a complex network of secret vampire covens that control the world and the human bodyguards—or Day Men—who work for and protect their masters during the day. Day Men is currently under option for the big screen by Universal Studios.

“November 5th is a big day for Day Men,” said BOOM! Studios Editor-in-Chief and the creator and co-writer of Day Men, Matt Gagnon. “We were able to pull off what I was hoping for: a same-day release of the volume one trade and issue #5, which is the start of our new arc 'Ex Curia.' We wanted to give all of our awesome retailers and readers an easy access point to the series. We’re pricing the trade at $9.99, so anybody can get caught up on the entire story thus far for 14 bucks. Our beloved 'vampire noir' series is back in a big way next month, and we can’t wait to share it with you!”

For thousands of years, the world has been controlled by the “50 Families,” a secret network of vampire covens engaged in a timeless struggle for power. But when the sun rises, the vampires are forced to employ the services of a human who acts as their daytime fixer and protector. Trained for centuries to be the mortal soldiers of their vampire employers, the Day Men go forth at sunrise, alone into the world, to do the bidding of their sleeping benefactors.
