July 23, 2015 (Los Angeles, Calif.) - Award-winning publisher BOOM! Studios is excited to announce their next project with writer Christopher Sebela (Dead Letters, Escape from New York) as he teams with artist Jonathan Brandon Sawyer (Critical Hit) on the suspense-filled reincarnation saga, Welcome Back. The series debuts in comic shops in August.

In Welcome Back, Mali and Tessa have lived hundreds of different lives throughout time, caught up in an eternal cycle as they take part in a war so old that neither side remembers what they’re fighting for anymore. As Mali wakes up in her newest life as the directionless, college-aged daughter of a notorious serial killer, she suddenly starts to question everything, especially why she continues to fight. But elsewhere, the determined Tessa is already on the hunt, leaving a trail of bodies in her wake...

 

Welcome Back #1 (of 4) arrives in comic shops on August 19th with a main cover by series artist Jonathan Brandon Sawyer for the price of $3.99 under Diamond order code JUN151070.
