“Scratch9: Cat of Nine Worlds” Sells Out at Comic-Con
New Original Graphic Novel Gone By Day 2 of San Diego Fest
(July
13, 2015) - Advance copies of the all-new, all-ages original graphic
novel “Scratch9: Cat of Nine Worlds” have sold out at Comic-Con
International, San Diego.
Publisher
Hermes Press offered this sequel to the Eisner-nominated “Scratch9” for
the first time this weekend. By day two of the convention, all
available copies were in the hands of eager readers.
Coming
in with over 175 pages of story and artwork, the epic-length cat tale
is written by Eisner-nominated series creator Rob M. Worley and
illustrated by the phenomenal Joshua Buchanan.

It
features a foreword by Eisner-winner Mike Kunkel with additional art
and pinups by Kevin Eastman, Francesco Francavilla, Rafael Albuquerque,
Jay Fosgitt and Jenny Parks.
“We
are floored by the fervor for this book,” said Worley of the sell-out.
“From people who were just hearing about our cat for the first time, to
folks who met us 5 years ago ago Comic-Con when the first issue debuted,
people are excited about finding new Scratch9 comics.”
Fans
who missed out at Comic-Con will want to ask their local comic shops to
order the book from the Diamond Previews catalog (ordering code #MAR15
1391, ISBN: 978-1613450857). The book is slated to arrive in comic shops
in late July and retail bookstores in August.
