The Adams Clan Comes to Baltimore Comic-Con

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND - August 28, 2015 - The Baltimore Comic-Con returns to the Inner Harbor the weekend of September 25-27, 2015 at the Baltimore Convention Center. Avoid additional lines by purchasing your General Admission, VIP, and Harvey Awards tickets now! In addition to our previous announcement for Neal Adams, the Baltimore Comic-Con is delighted to welcome his "clan", Zeea Adams, Buzz, and Peter Stone, to our 16th annual show.
Neal Adams
Ever the revolutionary, Neal Adams has decided to officially institute a new program at comic shows, starting at the Baltimore Comic-Con. While Neal sits at his table (#2010), and in full view of everyone who is curious or would like to be part of the experience, he will paint and/or draw one major illustrations for the full time while he is at the convention. He will interrupt his artwork creation to sign books or prints, and to do sketches and commissions. Adams has purchased a portable easel that he says is perfect for the job, and it is jammed-packed with paints, inks, and watercolor so that he can create an illustration from beginning to end right there at the convention. If there are complicated commissions that can't be done quickly, he will do them at his hotel in the evenings where he has a full drawing set-up, but during the day at the convention, he will be working on the large pieces.
Zeea Adams began her coloring career under the tutelage of her artist/painter father, Neal Adams and colorist mother, Cory Adams. She started coloring, naturally, on Continuity Comics with the occasional stint at Valiant and Red Line Comics. She worked both using watercolors and, later, Photoshop. When things went digital, Neal and Zeea pioneered advertising animatics, techniques that years later would be adapted for motion comics.
Always having the most fun with special effects and explosions, she joined in to work on the last 3 episodes of The Astonishing X-Men: Gifted motion comic. Zeea now finds the greatest pleasure in returning to her coloring roots. Zeea will be water coloring Neal's prints at the convention and will have them for sale at her booth, #2214.
Buzz is a comic book artist known for his work on JSA, Atomika, Vampirella, Luna, X-Factor, Impulse, and Shi, to name just a few. A very popular and sought after commission artist among the art collectors and the comic-book convention circuit.
Buzz is also a multi-EMMY award winning commercial artist who has worked with CBS, FOX, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the United States Marine Corp.Buzz will also be doing full finished pieces at table #2214 for people to watch and buy, as well as getting commissions from him.
Peter Bowditch Stone has completed his first novel, Shattered Krystal which will be available at the Baltimore Comic-Con in hard copy, or you can buy it through Amazon. Peter has worked in comic books (Continuity Comics and Now Comics), animation (Disney's They Spoke Out), live action, advertising, and video editing (Astonishing X-Men Motion Comic). Starting as an assistant to Neal Adams, he learned the comic book industry from one of the legends of the field.
His comic book stories feature Armor, Megalith, Samuree, the Hybrids, DEATHWATCH 2000 and The Rise of Magic, Mr T, Bucky O'Hare, and many more. His stories have been illustrated by Ernesto Infante, Rudy Nebres, Larry Stroman, Michael Golden, Mark Texiera, Alex Nino, Mark Beachum, Trevor Von Eeden, and Neal Adams.
Check out his new novel, which he will be selling at booth #2214 and making himself available to advise on publishing and offer his services as a writer. Pete will also have prints for sale of Continuity characters with whom he is associated as writer.

"This is an awesome opportunity!" said Marc Nathan, promoter of the Baltimore Comic-Con. "To get to see three artists of this caliber and renown creating pieces live and in-person is unique, and we're honored that Neal has chosen the Baltimore Comic-Con as his inaugural show to launch this feature. I can't wait to see this in action, and I'm sure any fan of artwork attending the show feels the same way!"
