DYNAMITE ENTERTAINMENT EXPANDS STAFF,
WELCOMES RACHEL PINNELAS AS NEW ASSOCIATE EDITOR

October 7, 2015, Mt. Laurel, NJ: Dynamite Entertainment is proud to announce the addition of Rachel Pinnelas to their Editorial Department staff. With seven years of editorial and production experience in the comic book industry, Pinnelas will serve as Associate Editor on a wide selection of Dynamite-owned, licensed, and creator-owned projects.

While pursuing a degree in architecture, Pinnelas joined the staff at Marvel Entertainment as intern in 2008, and navigated through their ranks until assuming the position of Assistant Editor where she was assigned to such projects as Avengers Academy, Secret Warriors, Thunderbolts, and The Punisher. In 2013, she migrated to DC Entertainment as an Assistant Editor within their Collected Editions department, where she was instrumental in developing hardcover, trade paperback, and reprint collections for DC Comics and DC Comics' imprint titles.

"I am very excited to be part of the Dynamite Entertainment team and to work with their dynamic and diverse comic book titles alongside tremendous industry talent," says Pinnelas. "The range of Dynamite's offerings across genres makes for an extraordinary lineup, and I can't wait to share more of what's to come with our readers."

"In between her time at Marvel and DC, we had actually spoken to Rachel about coming aboard here at Dynamite, but the timing then never worked out. It was awesome to pick up that conversation with her again when her time ended at DC," says Joseph Rybandt, Senior Editor. "Rachel brings experience, perspective, and drive to the job, and she hit the ground running from Day One by managing the Swords of Sorrow crossover, setting up the Red SonjaDejah Thoris, and Vampirella relaunches, and so much more."

"We're extremely excited to be working with Rachel. She's one of the few people in an editorial position that has worked at both Marvel and DC, and welcome her experience at both companies to the Dynamite ranks. We have quite a few exciting projects in the pipeline for next year, and bringing Rachel on board as part of the team is fantastic! It's great to have her being a part of the relaunches of Red Sonja, Dejah Thoris, and Vampirella, as well as additional projects soon to be announced.  It's an exciting time and we couldn't be happier to have Rachel on board," says Dynamite CEO/Publisher Nick Barrucci.
