In case you missed it, last week Dark Horse Comics announced exclusively with The New York Times, the upcoming publication of the graphic novel ANGEL CATBIRD, written by Margaret Atwood (the Booker Award-winning author of The Blind Assassin, The Handmaid’s Tale and The Heart Goes Last), illustrated by Johnnie Christmas (Sheltered), colored by Tamra Bonvillain and lettered by Nate Piekos. Hope Nicholson (The Secret Loves of Geek Girls)
is the consulting editor, with Daniel Chabon the acquiring editor at
Dark Horse. The project is being published in tandem with Keep Cats Safe
and Save Bird Lives, an initiative led by Nature Canada, the oldest
conservation charity in the country.
