COLUMBUS, Ohio, May 23, 2016 - Wizard World, Inc. (OTCBB: WIZD) continues its 2016 schedule with its sixth trip to the Greater Columbus Convention Center at Wizard World Columbus, July 29-31. Eliza Taylor (“The 100,” The November Man), Amy Jo Johnson (“Mighty Morphin Power Rangers,” “Felicity”), Ian Somerhalder (“The Vampire Diaries,” “Lost”), James Marsters (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Caprica”), Jewel Staite (“Firefly”), Lindsey Morgan (“The 100,” “General Hospital”), Elizabeth Rodriguez (“Fear the Walking Dead,” “Orange is the New Black”), Kevin Sorbo (“Hercules,” “Andromeda”), Nicholas Brendon (“Buffy The Vampire Slayer,” “Criminal Minds”) and Charles Martinet (voice actor, “Mario”) headline the roster of celebrity guests scheduled to attend the pop culture extravaganza, the 12th event on Wizard World's calendar of comic con and gaming cons in 2016.
Taylor, Johnson, Staite and Rodriguez are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, July 30-31, while Somerhalder will attend on Saturday only and Marsters, Sorbo, Brendon and Martinet will appear all three days.
Wizard World is also the home of the most creative comics artists and writers on the planet. Artist Alley in Columbus will feature Guy Gilchrist (“NANCY,” “Jim Henson’s Muppets Comic Strip”), Steve Geiger (“Bloodshot,” “Scion”), Joe Corroney (“Star Wars,” “Star Trek”), Larry Elmore (“Magic: The Gathering,” “Dungeons & Dragons”), Stuart Sayger (“Infestation 2; 30 Days of Night,” “Machete”), Michael Golden (“Batman,” “Spider-Man”), Phil Ortiz ("The Simpsons," “Muppet Babies”) Victor Dandridge (“The Samaritan,” “Origins Unknown”) and many others.
Wizard World comic and gaming con events bring together thousands of fans of all ages to celebrate the best in pop-fi, pop culture, movies, graphic novels, cosplay, comics, television, sci-fi, toys, video gaming, gaming, original art, collectibles, contests and more. Wizard World Columbus show hours are Friday, July 29, 3-8 p.m.; Saturday, July 30, 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Sunday, July 31, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Wizard World is also the place for cosplay, with fans young and old showing off their best costumes throughout the event. Fans dressed as every imaginable character – and some never before dreamed – will roam the convention floor. The famed Wizard World Columbus Costume Contest will take place on Saturday night.
