BALTIMORE, MARYLAND - August 25, 2016 -Please
join us on the evening of Saturday, September 3, 2016 for the Harvey
Award Ceremony and participate in an experience like none other in Comic
Fandom. You will have an opportunity to see Harvey Awards nominees,
along with some of the top talent in the industry. The Harvey Awards
ceremony will honor the award recipients and induct two creators into
the Harvey Kurtzman Hall of Fame. In addition, The Hero Initiative
will present their annual awards.

to the event, which includes a full cocktail hour (cash bar), full
service dinner (featuring a Baltimore Crabcake!), the awards ceremony,

Following
a cocktail hour where you can rub elbows with industry professionals
and fans alike, this exciting evening will be highlighted by our
returning host Vivek J. Tiwary, a #1 New York Times bestselling author,
Tony Award-winning Broadway producer, and the founder of multi-platform
arts and entertainment company Tiwary Entertainment Group.
Vivek will welcome our presenters to the stage, including comics professional like Amy Chu, Katie Cook, Denis Kitchen, Hope Larson, Terry Moore, David Petersen, Louise and Walter Simonson, Mark Waid, and Dirk Wood.

In
addition, you will be witness to the honoring of legendary comics
talent being recognized for their contributions to the industry. The
Hall of Fame inductees will be Carl Barks and Al Jaffee. From our friends at The Hero Initiative, the 2016 Hero Lifetime Achievement award will be presented to Joe Giella. Please join us in honoring this legendary group!
