Select praise for THE BLACK MONDAY MURDERS:
“Wall Street conjures deadly magic in The Black Monday Murders... Both huge and relatable. The hook threads a bizarre and long-standing conspiracy into the world of finance, rooted in a visceral supernatural dimension, but a welcome humanity gives that conflict a relatable core.” —Paste Magazine
“Where the majority of Hickman's work leans towards science fiction, this series is equal parts gritty crime drama and Lovecraftian horror story. It almost feels like the kind of story Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips would cook up, though there's no mistaking the dialogue and general presentation here.” —IGN
“A strong work that demands every fiber of your attention, The Black Monday Murders is a bit out of step with current titles and that makes it that much better.” —Fangoria
