BOOM! Studios Announces WWE #1
Universal Championship Retailer Kit
WWE: Then. Now. Forever. #1 one-shot returns with third printing
Los Angeles, Calif. (December 8, 2016)  BOOM! Studios is proud to announce the WWE #1 Universal  Championship Retailer Kit, designed to deliver an authentic experience to participating comic book retailers in celebration of WWE #1 (NOV161214) on Wednesday, January 11, 2017.
Retailers who qualify for this kit will receive the following:
  • (25) WWE Universal Championship Comic Book polybags, with a custom-printed WWE title to make your copy of WWE #1 or any other comic the champion of your collection!
  • (25) WWE Universal Championship stickers, commemorating the historic release of WWE #1
  • (25) BOOM! Studios WWE postcards

  • (1) WWE #1 Title Variant, one of the most limited variants in BOOM! Studios history
WWE #1 features a main story by writer Dennis Hopeless (All-New X-Men) and artist Serg Acuña, revealing details behind why Seth Rollins betrayed his former Shield members in his journey towards the WWE Championship. This action-packed issue includes a backup story starring The New Day by Ross Thibodeaux (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers 2016 Annual) and Rob Guillory (Chew).

This follows the immediate sellout of WWE: Then. Now. Forever. #1 Second Printing, the landmark one-shot which has drawn coverage from ESPN to A.V. Forever. #1 returns with a new Third Printing variant cover (OCT169223) by Andy Belanger, also arriving in stores on January 11, 2017.

The launch of BOOM! Studios’ critically acclaimed WWE series has also been supported by WWE with exclusive WWE Superstar photos and a brand-new trailer, which debuted via WWE social media accounts on Twitter.
