Dynamite Entertainment Announces First Stretch Goal in the Successful Vampirella Tarot Card Kickstarter Campaign

June 13, 2017, Mt. Laurel, NJ: Dynamite Entertainment is proud to share the great news that, thanks to the overwhelming support of fans and backers alike, the current Vampirella Tarot Card Kickstarter has now surpassed its original $5,000 goal! With only two days remaining in the campaign, it is with great pleasure that the publisher is now announcing the first stretch goal for this Kickstarter campaign: a unique Expanded Arcana that adds three new Tarot Cards to the deck. Featuring the classic artwork of Amanda Conner, Joe Jusko, and Jae Lee, these latest additions can be used to provide their own interpretations, or simply as rare collectibles!

Launched on May 31st, the two-week Kickstarter campaign celebrates the vibrant history of their signature character Vampirella with a stylish and functional Tarot Card Deck. Expected to ship in October, this first-ever collectible game offering from Dynamite captures the vibrant history of the iconic Vampirella in a 78-card art deco inspired deck that embraces the vintage look encapsulated in the classic Vampirella Magazine covers.

The Vampirella Tarot Card Kickstarter campaign remains active now until June 15th for backers to contribute toward the new stretch goal:

Packaged in a unique Kickstarter exclusive illustrated box, these Vampirella Tarot Cards will feature the artwork of some of the all-time masters of the craft, including Frank Frazetta, Enrich, Esteban Maroto, and Paul Gulacy, all in one unique, collectible package! The complete box set of these genuine major and minor arcana tarot cards comes with detailed instructions, and will provide any collector or fan with a truly immersive experience in the world of Vampirella!

"From the beginning, we wanted to do something special for our supporters and we think we've come up with something really unique," says Nick Barrucci, CEO and Publisher of Dynamite Entertainment.    "Working hand-in-hand with Vampirella comics scholars, we've designed an Expanded Arcana that provides three brand-new Tarot Cards that truly capture the vivacious history of our most iconic character.  We're thrilled to continue expanding Vampirella's universe in such an aesthetically pleasing and exciting way!

Production on the Vampirella Tarot Cards is well under way, and backers who support the Vampirella Tarot Card Kickstarter have the opportunity to receive rewards, including digital editions, collectible prints and variant covers, full print collections, and artist signed exclusives! With tiers designed to fit any collector's budget, backers will have the potential to enjoy a number of these great rewards!
