Writer/Creator Jason M. Burns (A Dummy's Guide to Danger, The Expendable One, The Sleepy Truth) has inked a deal with Devil's Due Publishing that will see him release a number of books through the Chicago-based publisher starting with the August release "Serpo". With art by Joe Eisma (A Dummy's Guide to Danger: Lost at Sea), the graphic novel is based on the supposed true events involving an interplanetary exchange program.
In 2005, an anonymous source within the DIA released detailed information on an extraterrestrial exchange program tied to the infamous Roswell crash. According to the files, 12 intrepid Americans journeyed to a distant, alien planet to live among its people. Serpo tells the adventures of this incredible "true" story.
With two other books already in the works with the publisher, as well as a run on the licensed property Chucky, based on the Child's Play franchise.
Burns also has a number of releases due out through Viper Comics, including Imaginary Friends: The Rise of Shift Valentine (June), Gypsy Joe Jefferson (July), and The Sleepy Truth: Volume 2 (October). For more information, visit www.jasonmburns.com.
