PopCult Welcomes Michael Olmos

Creates iPhone App for Reed Exhibitions' C2E2, Webstore for Actress Emma Caulfield

CHICAGO - November, 20, 2009 - Strengthening its team within the pop culture industries, PopCult Solutions is pleased to welcome producer/director Michael D. Olmos to its team of PopCultivators.

Michael D. Olmos is Vice President, Motion Pictures of Olmos Productions (the development arm of actor / director Edward J. Olmos) and brings his experience in the film and entertainment industry and the many relationships that come with it. PopCult sees Olmos' participation as a perfect fit as the company expands its capabilities to offer clients within Hollywood creative solutions targeted in the ever growing "comic, sci-fi, pop culture geek" demographic.

"I'm thrilled to have Mike aboard," said PopCult founder and comic book publisher Josh Blaylock. "Mike has spent his life immersed behind the scenes in the entertainment world and has years of relationships and an expertise that makes him uniquely able to identify the needs of the Hollywood set, and how PopCult can serve them."

"I'm honored to be a part of the PopCult collective, and to work alongside Josh and the rest of the team," said Mike Olmos. "Josh has great foresight and exciting ideas on merging new media and comic book IP with film, television, and online channels. Together our team will be able to create dynamic, commercial products with a wide appeal not only to early adopters, but also to general audiences."

The company also announces two new projects soon to debut:

The App will be free to the public available from PopCult on iTunes.

ShopEmmaCaulfield
The new online store for fans of Emma Caulfield (known to many as the demon girl Anya from Buffy: The Vampire Slayer) is another example of PopCult's abilities to meet the needs of anyone in the pop culture space.
