On the 20th anniversary year of the fall of the Berlin Wall, One Model Nation (www.onemodelnation.com), the first cinematic, graphic novel of its kind, by Donovan Leitch (CampFreddy) and C. Allbritton Taylor (The Dandy Warhols), will be released by Image Comics (www.imagecomics.com) on Wednesday, December 2, 2009, in book and comic stores nationwide. In addition to the book, One Model Nation's soundtrack, another first for a graphic novel, will be released over time on the website www.onemodelnation.com.

Donovan Leitch, C. Allbritton Taylor and Street Angel illustrator Jim Rugg piece together the complete story of the political art-noise band One Model Nation, revealing how they were inadvertently forced to become the face of a revolution that revitalized a country, with actual historic events of the the final dark days of the Baader-Meinhof Gang and the band's mysterious disappearance a few months later.

The story follows four young musicians in Berlin, Germany in 1977, focused on their craft and determination to take their music to the masses while the country is still shattered from the devastation of war and the harsh realities of communism. The country's youth are fighting back against a repressed nation with their only figurehead for this violent, well dressed revolution is a band, later to be forever lost in time. With cameos from notable international musicians, One Model Nation encompasses the musical influences from an era whose youth just wanted to be heard.

With stunning graphics and Scorsese-esque electricity, One Model Nation captures the arts and politics of an era whose influence can not be measured.
