CLEVELAND, December 15, 2014
– Wizard World, Inc. (OTCBB: WIZD) continues its 2015 schedule with its
first trip to the Cleveland Convention Center at Wizard World Cleveland
Comic Con, February 20-22. William Shatner (“Star Trek,” “Boston Legal”), Bruce Campbell (The Evil Dead, “Burn Notice”), Taryn Manning (“Orange is the New Black,” “Sons of Anarchy”), Cory Feldman (Stand By Me, The Goonies), Drea de Matteo (“Sons of Anarchy,” “The Sopranos”) and “The Walking Dead” duo of Seth Gilliam (“Teen Wolf”) and Michael Rooker (Guardians of the Galaxy) headline the roster of celebrity guests scheduled to attend the pop culture extravaganza.
Shatner
will attend on Friday and Saturday, February 20-21; Feldman will appear
on Saturday only; Campbell, Gilliam and Manning will attend on Saturday
and Sunday; and de Matteo and Rooker are scheduled for all three days
of the event.
Other well-known Wizard World Cleveland Comic Con guests include Michael Rowe (“Arrow”), Graham McTavish (The Hobbit, “Warehouse 13”), Sasha Roiz (“Grimm,” “Warehouse 13”), James Marsters (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Caprica”), Chris 51 (“Epic Ink”), Lou Ferrigno (“The Incredible Hulk”), Jason David Frank (“Mighty Morphin Power Rangers”), Doug Jones (Fantastic Four, Hellboy) and Gregg Henry (Guardians of the Galaxy, Payback).
Wizard
World is also the home of the most creative comics artists and writers
on the planet. Artist Alley at Cleveland Comic Con will feature Mark Sumerak (“Power Pack,” “Franklin Richards”), Tim Smith III (“Marvel Super Special,” “Wolverine vs Thor”), Clinton Hobart (“Disney”) and many others.
In
addition, all full-price Wizard World Cleveland Comic Con attendees
will receive a limited edition exclusive variant cover “The Walking
Dead” comic, drawn by one of Wizard World's talented artist guests (to
be announced shortly). Comics will be issued at registration while
supplies last and VIP attendees will receive an additional black &
white sketch version.
Wizard
World Comic Con events bring together thousands of fans of all ages to
celebrate the best in pop-fi, pop culture, movies, graphic novels,
cosplay, comics, television, sci-fi, toys, video gaming, gaming,
original art, collectibles, contests and more. The fifth of 24 events
currently scheduled on the 2015 Wizard World calendar, Cleveland Comic
Con show hours are Friday, February 20, 3-8 p.m.; Saturday, February 21,
10 a.m.-7 p.m., Sunday, February 22, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
Cleveland
Comic Con is also the place for cosplay, with fans young and old
showing off their best costumes throughout the event. Fans dressed as
every imaginable character – and some never before dreamed – will roam
the convention floor and participate in the famed Wizard World Costume
Contest on Saturday night.
