Easter-Weekend Lineup Is Out Of This World

 

Vancouver, BC (March 20, 2015) – FAN EXPO VANCOUVER™ transports fans to another galaxy with the ultimate pop-culture rush from April 3-5, 2015. With a programming lineup that jumps off the pages from the most collected comics, sci-fi, horror, anime, and gaming tales of all time, the Vancouver Convention Centre transforms into a utopia for all-ages this Easter long-weekend.

THE BACK TO THE FUTURE TIME MACHINE

Get your nostalgia on as we go back to the future! One of the most famous vehicles in film history will be displayed to help The Michael J. Fox Foundation in its fight against Parkinson’s disease.

THE 501ST LEGION: STAR WARS DISPLAY & PHOTO SESSIONS

From Darth Vader to Yoda, Canada’s largest display of original STAR WARS costumes will bring out the kid in everyone. And to make sure the little kids get their time, there's a daily Star Wars Kids Hour. Afterwards embody your inner R2-D2 and pose with the Stormtroopers and friends. This booth is a fan favourite!

ARTIST ALLEY

Fans will find a goldmine of pencillers, inkers and writers in this special area. From meeting rising stars, to pros working on the industry frontlines, this is a haven for comic book, graphic novel, limited edition print, and original art and sketch enthusiasts! 

COSPLAY WORKSHOP: ARMOUR BUILDING WITH LUNAR CROW


Want to impress next year’s crowd with a cool armour display, but don’t know where to start? LUNAR CROW’s cosplay armour making workshop offers the low down on popular materials and a full demo on how to make an armour piece in Worbla theromoplastic. 

 

FUN BUILDING AND BIG MODELS AT THE LEGO® BOOTH!
