March 17,  2015 (Los Angeles, Calif.) - BOOM! Box, an imprint of award-winning publisher BOOM! Studios, is pleased to announce that Munchkin #2 has sold out at the distributor level. The publisher has rushed to a second printing to fill demand.

Comic book fans should bear in mind that first printings of Munchkin #2 may still be found at the local comic shop nearest you, and that all first printing issues contain an exclusive card for the popular game. Not sure where to find your nearest comic retailer? Use comicshoplocator.com or findacomicshop.com to find one!

Munchkin—the game where you do whatever it takes to win, whether it’s backstabbing your own mum or befriending your worst enemy—is now a comic, and the twists and turns are just as unpredictable as the game. In issue #2, Spyke and Flower are taking on the Wight Brothers’ dungeon in the first part of “Might Makes Wight” by Tom Siddell (Gunnerkrigg Court) and Ian McGinty (Bravest Warriors), and we take a moment to learn something new in “The Ecology of the Floating Nose” written by Jim Zub (Wayward) and drawn by Rian Sygh (BOOM! Box 2014 Mix Tape).

Praise for the Munchkin comic:

“It’s like a machine gun just delivering you the humor. Once it’s done with one joke, bam! Another is already hitting you. It’s very chaotic and fun just like the game itself.” - Comic Bastards

“Buy the book, laugh out loud, backstab your friends, and steal their exclusive Go Up A Level card.” - Major Spoilers

“Read, laugh at the crazy characters and clever wordplay, and maybe learn something about yourself as a fan and a person.” - Geeked Out Nation

“...this is definitely a recommended purchase, for fans of the game in particular (each first print edition of the comic comes with a collectible Munchkin game card, folks!) as well as fans of, well, laughing in general.” - Big Comic Page

Munchkin #2 second print ships with a new cover by Stefan Tosheff (BOOM! Box 2014 Mix Tape) and carries a retail price of $3.99 with a Diamond Code of JAN158293. Orders close on March 23rd, and it is anticipated to be in stores on April 8th.
