BCC Spring Fling and Hero Initiative Add Chris Ivy

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND - April 1, 2017 - The Baltimore Comic-Con returns to the Inner Harbor's Baltimore Convention Center on September 22-24, 2017, but we will be back early this year at the Baltimore Comic-Con Spring Fling!

Baltimore Comic-Con Spring Fling will be held at the BWI Airport Marriott on Sunday, April 9th, 2017. Our dealers from around the country include AA Comics, All-American Comics, Basement Comics, BDK, Borderlands Comics, Collectors Corner, Comics & Gaming, Bob Cook, Cards, Comics and Collectibles, Cosmic Comix, Dimension Decals, Tom Gordon, Jason Hamlin, Heroes Aren't Hard to Find, Ion Comics, Lost In Time Toys, Mad4Minifigs, Painted Visions Comics, Patriot Comics & Toys, Silver Dragon Studio, Toynk, Twilite Zone Comics, Welcome Back Comics, Derek Woywood, and Zeno's Books.

We are also extremely pleased to present a small selection of previously-announced comic book guests, including Frank Cho (Skybourne), Steve Conley (The Middle Age), John Gallagher (Casper the Friendly Ghost), Mark Morales (New Suicide Squad), and Brandon Peterson (Trinity).

We are pleased to announce the addition of Chris Ivy, appearing courtesy of the Hero Initiative. Ivy began his career in the storied Marvel Bullpen, working under comics greats John Romita and Don Perlin. After a year, he graduated to the life of a freelancer, where he became renowned largely for his inking skills. He has worked on titles such as Marvel's Alpha Flight, Avengers, Wolverine, and Ghost Rider, Image's Shadowhawk, Supreme, and Butcher Knight, DC Comics' JLA, Flash, and Sovereign Seven, and Dark Horse's Planet of the Apes, Aliens vs. Predator vs. Terminator, and Star Wars Bounty Hunters: Kenix Kil. More recently, his work has been seen in titles from IDW (GI Joe: Cobra Civil War) and Dynamite Entertainment (Army of Darkness).
