Today marks the IFC movies on-demand release of THE OBJECTIVE, the supernatural thriller by “The Blair Witch Project” co-director Daniel Myrick.

The Film will also have Exclusive Midnight Theatrical engagements at IFC Center in New York City this Friday and Saturday, Feb. 06 and 07, at 12:20am (following day), and will open at LA’s Laemmle Sunset 5 on March 13.

IFC’s “In Theaters” reaches 50 million US homes with independent films made available simultaneously in theaters and on demand, bringing specialty films to an audience that might never have has access otherwise.

IFC on demand includes “IFC Festival Direct” which offers six titles a month from major international film festivals like Cannes, Toronto, Venice, Berlin, Sundance, SXSW and AFI, and “IFC Midnight”, which has the latest in international genre cinema: horror, sci-fi, thriller, erotic arthouse, action and more. IFC also just made a deal with SXSW to release 5 films on-demand simultaneous to their premiere at the festival, bringing the festival home to on-demand viewers.
