LOS ANGELES — The Hub Network, a destination for kids and their families, will feature popular programming that the whole family can enjoy together this Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28, and Black Friday, November 29. The holiday lineup includes a marathon of the original series “Family Game Night” on Thursday, November 28, 3–6 p.m. ET/12–3 p.m. PT featuring some of the biggest and best wins from season four, as well as the Hub Network premiere of the movie “The Dog Who Saved the Holidays,” on Friday, Nov. 29, 8–10 p.m. ET/5–7 p.m. PT. Returning fan favorite specials and movies include: “Holly
and Hal Moose™: Our Uplifting Christmas Adventure,” “Homeward Bound:
The Incredible Journey,” “Homeward Bound 2: Lost in San Francisco,”
“Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet Frankenstein” and “Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman.”
Following are programming descriptions in order of broadcast dates and times:
“Holly and Hal Moose™: Our Uplifting Christmas Adventure” (Thursday, Nov. 28, 11 a.m.–12 noon ET/8–9 a.m. PT)
Hal,
a free-spirited moose, is determined to fly with Santa’s reindeer. His
level-headed sister Holly is always there to help her brother in his
latest adventure. This sibling duo must work together to save Christmas
in time for Santa to make his latest flight.
“Family Game Night” Marathon (Thursday, Nov. 28, 3–6 p.m. ET/12–3 p.m. PT)
Families
of all sizes are selected from the audience to compete in
larger-than-life versions of classic games for a chance to win cash,
prizes and a brand new car. All-new games include JENGA, MONOPOLY Remix,
BARREL OF MONKEYS and YAHTZEE. The marathon will include some of the
biggest and best wins of season four.
“Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey” (Thursday, Nov. 28, 6–8 p.m. ET/3–5 p.m. PT)
A
remarkable adventure begins when three domesticated pets – two dogs and
a cat – are separated from their human family and embark on an
extraordinary journey through untamed wilderness to find their way home.
“Homeward Bound 2: Lost in San Francisco” (Thursday, Nov. 28, 8–10 p.m. ET/5–7 p.m. PT)
When
the trio of talking animals accidentally gets separated from their
vacationing owners, they must navigate the mean streets of San Francisco
and find their way home across the Golden State Bridge.
“Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet Frankenstein” (Friday, Nov. 29, 4–6 p.m. ET/1–3 p.m. PT)
Alvin,
Simon and Theodore star in a hilarious send-up of the classic monster
movie. The brothers are surprised to discover Dr. Frankenstein and his
beloved monster inhabiting a world-famous movie studio.
“Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman” (Friday, Nov. 29, 6–8 p.m. ET/3–5 p.m. PT)
Strange
things are happening in the Chipmunks’ neighborhood after their spooky
neighbor moves in. When sweet little Theodore starts exhibiting
puppy-like behavior, they suddenly find themselves in the middle of a
real-life “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde!”
“The Dog Who Saved the Holidays” (Friday, Nov. 29, 8–10 p.m. ET /5–7 p.m. PT)
Zeus
the dog is not too happy to get a canine sister, but after two thrifty
thieves are spotted trying to break into the family home, the duo must
work together to save the holidays for their family.
